i remember seeing this when i was a kid.i also met m.r. james in p-town when i hosted a radio show there and he was working with desmond child....he was very nice
Absolutely 1st rate 5 stars without a doubt I have never seen anything like Jimmy James an his extraordinary performances wow I wish I could have seen him during the years he portrayed Marilyn live!
the more i watch this the more i love it...and i've seen it a thousand times...and it brings a smile to my face, everytime..love you jimmy and all the characters/voices you do. i hope many people enjoy your talent nowadays! i would love to see your performance live..
Thanks! Still doing the Voices and now sometimes for clubs I do track dates for my song "FASHIONISTA" which I wrote and recorded. Search "FASHIONISTA" on YouTube. So many people have made their own video to it.
Jimmy, i saw you a few years ago on a club on the lower west side doing among others the great Bette Davis. As if nailing the voice weren't amazing enough, your face seemed to "re-arrange" itself & i swear i saw Bette right then & there. Your talent is INCREDIBLE.
This show was seen LIVE May 1987. Back then there were only about 4 TV stations. Millions watched Donahue worldwide. Right before I started to sing I went BLANK! You can kind of see it on my face. So I just opened my mouth and THANK GOD the words came out! The dress was designed by Shek in Atlantic City, NJ. Shoes: nude Ferragamo pumps.
Trust me on this; Jimmy James was by FAR the best M.M. EVER, and I have seen a ton of them. Like Charles Pierce once said, "It takes a man to wear a dress like this!" WORD-

Cute but it does look like MARILYN has had a
few too many Twinkees here.....nice impression though ~ certainly one of the stronger MARILYN impressions....

i look at it as a little older marilyn, like in her 40-50s and being full figured. he is just a slight bit heaver than marilyn.
