Aw, i have a cat like that called spooky =] She does that when she sees my fish swimming in the tank, she gets ready to pounce but first she stalks them, and sits up to watch them :L
Nope, she does this entirley on her own...all the time...whatever you are doing. Spends most of the time asleep on the scanner box in the office and pops up when she's bored. She's 16 now, so might just have to get a decent camera to record her again...watch this space!
