In response to the guy who wants Waits off the net: I disagree. I'm all for artists being unmolested in terms of their art, but, fuck, how else am I going to get to actually see Waits perform?

I can't remember the last time he was in Toronto, and even if he showed up, I probably couldn't get tickets either because they'll be sold out in minutes, or I just won't be able to afford them. So I'm all for videos being uploaded, especially of his old stuff.

Jack Kerouac < Tom Waits. Tom's a total artist. He does everything right: the lyrics, the music, the vids/performances... the ambience... He can cheer you up or trash you, make you see in black & white only - he's the modern Orpheus, true bard and one of he very few living artists with so much class.
