hmm... this is a good example of how a good script is important to reach viewer's emotions.
Such a shame to see good animation skills fall apart because of an abuse of characters, clichés and nonsense. Dividing this short into... 4 different stories would have been the best maybe.
There's also a kind of abuse of special FX. They sound repetitive and after the first minute, they turn kind of annoying to hear.
This tries to be a constructive criticism. just that. nice animation.
