One thing , among many others that I like about his performances is that he is a testimony to those who have been misguided into believing that to be a good blues musician, your past has to be one of a heroin addict and crack head that floods their bodies with tatoos and piercings. He is clean cut and professional, and what graces his monumental talent so much is his humility. He is not a proud arrogant prude who is to good to talk to his fans. He is down to earth a beautiful person.
Stevie ray was great but Joe takes it to the next level..and Rocks the hell out of the blues...He deserves to be called " One of the best Blues Rockers " of all time!!!!!!!
I was starting to think Joe is the best blues jammer ever but then I watched and old SRV video and my senses came back to me. Joe is great and commands respect but SRV is still the best...
totally agree. much as I love joe's style srv is still the man. Just missed seeing Joe this year, he only played a small gig in Scotland, hope he comes back this year.
I never thought SRV has much feeling, he has a really good groove but I always missed feeling in his songs, except for maybe his cover of little wing...I like joe a lot more. I still like SRV.
@santacruezz i am sorry to say that man, but if you think SRV didnt had feeling, you just have no idea what blues is. SRV was living, bleeding; sweating blues every second of his life.
Of Course Stevie was feeling what he was playing and I am not saying that his playing isn't evoking emotions in other people, but for me, he just does not do it. I still like his songs a lot, just would not say that I am a fan.
why bonamassa dont use this voice now -___-

@Greatguitarguy in your opinion, but not mine

@Greatguitarguy you pay like Vaughan more but technically joe is far superior .

Joe does an alright cover, but I much prefer Tim's. :)
I don't like the "damn" replacement - it's a bit wishy-washy.

I think john mayer is more something like a popidol not a blues guitarist.
i prefer joe bonamassa

@BadBoysBlues
i would prefer joe to John any day but John can still produce a nice blues sound if he really tries.

Good cover song choice.
He does it well but I think Tim Curry's original is unbeatable.

Tim Curry made have founded the song, but Bonamassa made the song!
