  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG

  • Why even dislike videos on youtube. Just don't watch them.

  • @SH3LLHeAD this logic perplexes me. how are you supposed to know if you like it or not unless you watch them first?

  • @dernein Ok then by that logic if you don't like it just turn it off. No one knows who dislikes it so why put a dislike there. On a different note, I had no idea what I write on You Tube 3 weeks after I write them so If it's from ages ago and I can't find the comment it's really hard to reply. It's happened ages where people have taken digs at me or something. Just saying but yeah you have your own opinions.

  • i see trouble up head cause of the 10 dislikes, *grabs baseball bat*

  • Beautiful wah wah solo.

  • Bye bye Tom from Derby! Thanks for showing me this song.

  • @TheManWhoLovesToRock Nah Zep were class this is pap.

  • I went to V festival last year, best part of the weekend was the half hour OCS were on.

  • @TheManWhoLovesToRock It is great to see Zepplins influence however there is none to be found here.

  • I used to listen to this while I played MGS2 on PS2, ahh good times.

  • like all the fucking British bands, Ocean Colour Scene was the fucking world at his feet.

  • one of the best songs of that era,not that i remember much of it,but there ya go :))

  • I'll never understand why this song isn't seen as up there with the other great classic rock songs and recognised as exactly that, a great classic rock song, it's clearly as good if not better than some of the "all time classics" that fill all the "best of rock" albums.

  • @caemawred Totally agree. It's one of those perfect songs...

  • @cantankerousharridan that guitar is porrrn

  • @caemawred This ain't rock.

  • LOOONG LIVE REAL MUSIC, FUCK MTV, FUCK VH1

  • How cool is this song????

  • @TheDarknesshere so coool..so frickin cool mannnn.

  • The wah solo is one of the best use of the wah effects I've heard.

  • almost a cover of four sticks but still a crackin song, vastly underrated band.

  • seen these live at splendour and they was feckin great :)

  • omg we loveeeee it!!!

  • looooooove this !!!!!!!!! turn it up loooooud!

  • 10 people have 0 taste

  • I just found England's best kept secret! Thanks from America! Any other bands that sound this good under the radar?

  • @sgredllama Aye loads, you wouldn't understand... your american.

  • Comment removed

  • @sgredllama Try Gomez, Reef, Stone Roses. Northern music is where it's at!!

  • @crazzzyyyfoooolll Thanks, got Stone Roses, I'll check out the others. Peace

  • @sgredllama Try Gomez, Reef, Stone Roses. Northern music is where it's at!!

  • @sgredllama Reef, Gomez, Stone Roses. Northern music basically.

  • @sgredllama not so under the radio 15 years ago, just that bands like oasis and blur came ahead of them, personally i prefer ocean colour scene to any other britpop band but hey ho.

  • @sgredllama mate, there's hundreds! it depends know which ones you know already though I suppose!, these guys have been around since the 90's, they were popular around the same time as Reef, Oasis, Supergrass etc..... but there's tonnes to be honest, it's funny how a lot of British music doesn't hit the US, while it makes it here to Oz and the rest of the world?. I just saw the foo fighters again, so you guys stillf hold your own, but it seems you miss out on some sensational stuff.....

  • @superdonyoungy brit music does go over in the Us just not this brit pop shit.

  • 0 3 5 03 5 0 3 5 03 5 guitar

  • these boys are b,lox

  • Saw them live at stirling hall. It was fuckin EPIC!

  • Saw these at V, probably one of the best there!

  • saw these.....they were IMMENSE

  • nice ! propper music with propper MUSICIANS playing propper instruments, wavy fingers geez.

  • Anyone remember when MTV actually broadcasted music like this. I wish they broadcast music like this for a week and see how the little justin bieber faggots would react.

  • This band is so under rated, they should be a lot bigger! We need more bands like these and the who, the beatles, the stones, stone roses, oasis, the smiths i could think of many more, music is slowly dying! Were stuck with all this pop shite!

  • My God, I've almost forgot this song and Ocean Colour Scene. Still have tape with the their songs from Moseley Shoals album. They were and ARE fucking awesome, great but so underrated band. Thank God I found them again and fell in love in their music once again!!! :)

  • check out the band Columbia with there new song bad girl.

  • Great, now they're trying to be the Stones and Zep at the same time.

  • What an under rated band!

  • going to see them today with ash and fun loving criminals… how is life that good?

  • @jgharrison75 I was there too. Great day, loads of ice cream!!

  • Love OCS!! I see Double.....

  • 8 people hit the dislike button by mistake

  • So many people talk about THAT summer of 96 . ~

Everyday the sun seemed to be shining , everyone smiling , nothing to worry about with Euro 96 in full flow powered by the backdrop of a brit pop beat - awesome

  • tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune

  • i see trouble hahahahaha

  • It was the summer of 96, when sounded is great song, was about 18 years. I remember listening to a night on the beach, the coolest of my life for everything that happened there, thanks to this amazing song, and which resulted in those hours that seem to have been almost unique, eternal. The group is great, but great song and the chorus so hard, it was determined that at a time, the decision to action! Thank you very much for uploading the video!

  • quality track got to love it !!!

  • this is bloody brilliant

  • this came on at a gig in lpool an everyone went mad

    I SEE DOUBLE UP AHEAD!!!

  • FUCKING GREAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The reason why this great band is not great is because the world is full of deaf tossers !!!

  • class all i can say is class my youth was all about them indie rule no messin proud of them

  • shit hot song bring back music

  • Wow ! Hope the rumour is true !!!!!!!!

  • Rumour Ocean Colour Scene live at Bridgebash Festival 2011 Worcestershire with NOMAD 67 in support !

  • MODS MODS MODS! whoo OCS FTW!

  • Now this is how music is to be done; I picked this album up when it first came out and never looked back.

  • i like the the man who knows the tempo i didnt know it was 6/8

  • very very nice song

  • The best bit is in-between 0.00 and 4.54!

  • @topherx25 so original...

  • Ocean Colour Scene - most underrated band ever.

Justin Bieber - most overrated little boy ever.

    End of.

  • @o0o0MuseR0o0o

Yet he's mentioned on every single Youtube video. Must be doing something right. It's idiots like you who give him the fame he doesn't deserve. How about you just shut up about him?

  • @Cheximus

    i agree

  • Man i love this tune.

  • Dion Dublin is working with OCS now :)

  • ocean colour scene at titp! Can't wait!

  • tuesdayyyy wooo

  • This Band should be fucking BIG, instead we are fucking stuck with crap like Bieber and Lil' Wayne. WTF happend to music?? OCS FTW

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa true, but it dont matter how big they are we fucking love their music !!

  • @TheBuffaloSoYou are so right my friend!, i got hooked onto this song by my dad and ive listened 2 it since!1 i already have a varied playlist of songs so this just tops the collection!!x

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa they are !!! love 'em, love 'em, fckin LOVE 'EM : )

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa Too fucking right!! I am by no means a "mod" but a special place in my musical soul is reserved for OCS. They played Oxygen last year and I count myself lucky to be one of the few within the milling shambles of mindless, pissed up, 15 year old hip-hop fucktards escaping the rain that enjoyed every minute of thier short stint in the tent. I am all too glad to report they have not lost thier live touch.

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa Mentioning Justin Bieber in reponse to a music video just isn't cool, nor original and only perpetuates his popularity.

  • @Blinkasoul never a truer word said.

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa OSC are awful now. I went and saw them play about 3 years ago and it was one of the worst gigs I have ever been too.

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa i genuinly, for some godforsaken reason, was watching baby by justin beiber, got annoyed and decided to watch some genuine music and came here to see that comment :) peace

  • @TheBuffaloSouljaa MUSIC SNOB. Awesome.

  • Quality! seen them in southampton the otha nite! they still got it!!! Fowlers voice is fuckin quality! OCS - SOOOO UNDERATED!!

  • soon as i shared it Black! by the way TeddySpaceman a guy I know just baught a real Hammon organ a la Deep Purple and Jon Lord for 50 quid!

  • love the deep purple-esque organ playing

  • love it in my car

  • @buddhistboy1973 i know there still together as im going to watch them on friday 11th in cardiff

  • great track...great album! does anyone know what happened to these guys? Love to know....they were the epitomy of the Brit pop era....

  • @buddhistboy1973 the band was paul weller's backing band for like 5 or 6 years... i haven't heard anything about them in a minute though. i know they work with paul a lot.. so, try looking into him.

  • @buddhistboy1973 they are still together they was at v festival this year

  • This is the first time I've ever heard this song and it absolutely blew my mind. Instant favorite.

  • i'd say 6/4

  • @megskimo Yep, I'd agree with that.

  • Amazing <3

  • Amazing <3

  • How could you possibly count this as anything other than 6/8? Eeugh. That's a talent right there! To be fair four sticks is 5/8 but this is very very definitely 6/8! Count the beat before posting!

  • @Bitterstevil fuck you

  • Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to TFI Friday. Tonight's first guest are Ocean Colour Scene.

    *cue the music*

  • @seahawk124 that ginger bastard almost ruined this song for me....almost

  • most underrated band in history. FUCKING AWESOME SET UP

  • THE best album ever as far as i'm concerned, Led zep had a good few songs, black sabbath also, oasis as well, elbow good, ash okay, stereophonics many a good one......but this is and will always be my favourite album of all time.....fan(bloody)tastic :) !!!

  • Influence is not the main thing here... We all have influence of someone, but not many of us can made song like this!

  • this is a fucking epic and brings back so many good times when i hear it

  • Comment removed

  • Great song. I agree it sounds more like Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. :) Peter Green ftw!

  • Comment removed

  • wow... so much arguments over wikipedia. bad times.

  • more like early fleetwood mac than led zeppelin i would say.

  • @Surgery HOW COULD ANYONE DISLIKE THIS SONG???

  • so maNy memories of growing up with this song, CLASSIC!!!!

  • aaaah what a song <3

  • @Surgery LMFAO

  • Hartlepool tall ships they were unreal!

  • I had a chance to go for one of their gig, it was amazing!

  • i dont really like this band....but this song is awesome...reminds me of zeppelin.

  • The 2 people who disliked this must have accidentally clicked on this video while looking for Justin Bieber.

  • Bring back TFI Friday

  • @NatalieEdgeEdwards i agree...and would it be too much to ask to bring back the 90's aswell?!?

  • @NatalieEdgeEdwards miss that show so fekin much...kicked the friday night right off.

  • awesome

  • Me encanta esta canción y cuando Amy Macdoanld y Steve Craddock la tocaron juntos en un concierto se volvio en una de mis canciones favoritas

  • this sounds a little bit like blues or jazz...

    well it sounds perfect¡¡¡

    long live the ocs¡¡¡

    =)

  • its a like allround init rly

  • I remember the lead singer came out as gay and the band folded and disappeared, shame, if they had been round today the would be massive, theres fucking gays everwhere now! great track despite the poo pipe poking!

  • @callistajm Ocean Colour Scene are still around today, in fact they fairly recently released an album back in February this year. They've released albums every one or two years since Moseley Shoals...

  • @callistajm bigots everywhere too

  • i thought of the allman brothers as soon as i heard this riff. great blues track love it

  • What a classic!!

  • This truly is an easy riff. It's also a GREAT song. It's a shame that they haven't done anything this good, except this song of course. But I don't really think it reminds me of Four Sticks. The riff in that song differs greatly to the one in this song. Anyway, this is probaly a candidate to the best discovered (by me) song of 2009. It's a shame though that you can't download it with the Mp3Converter :( Well keep uploading this kind of amazing music

  • @MrPajazz I managed to download it with the Youtube downloader and MP3 Converter. :)

  • This masterpiece has everything, great vocals, brilliant percussion and a riff to die for.Wonderful!

  • fucking fantastic

  • nice

  • British blues is best

  • fuckin love it

  • UNREAL

  • love it

  • "The song is heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin's 'Four Sticks', from which it takes its main riff and a number of lyrics. The song is notable in that it is in 6/8 swing", from wiki.

i guess thats the scent of the 70s the song has

  • @Astaroth72 now thats an ana lysis

  • impressive
