Despite the pictures of people swimming, I still see Canada as cold.
I live in the Sonoran desert (Southern Arizona) and have a hard time comprehending life in such a northern country. I can't imagine life without Mexican culture, cactus and direct sunlight 330 days a year.

I see Canada as the greatest place in the world to live. We have free health care, some of the worlds most beautiful scenery, four glorious seasons and a history of producing some of the greatest minds.With respect to how relatively small our population is we have had a huge impact on the world and are currently setting an example for larger nations with our education/health care and technological advancements. We are also widely recognized as one of the friendliest nations.

What did Canada do. they didn't join because they were afraid if they lost they would be punished by Great Britain. We didn't lose, and canada did not become an independent country till the late 1800's.

Canada's slogan should be - "The country that threw a party, but no one showed up." But, I will say it has some beautiful places. It's not nearly as diverse geographically as the US though. We have everything from tundra to desert to the Tropical rain forest of Hawaii.
