Blind and in Mainstream Education

I've been totally blind since birth and was always in main stream education except for a term to learn braille and some other things I couldn't learn at a regular school. I went to a school for the blind for this.

I think going to a reg. school helped me a lot. Once you go to university you don't have as much support. Because I was use to a reg. school I didn't have so much of a change to deal with. I've met people whose parents wouldn't let them go to a reg. school and they wanted to so badly.
