Appy was freaking loaded this year! The Edwards kid is a total stud! However, for GSU, 7-4 didn't get it done. Unexcusable losses to Chattanooga & Furman sealed the deal. Nevertheless, a great turnaround year under Coach Hatcher. We've got some work to do replacing Foster and most of the offensive line.

We suffered a lot of injuries and had a young defense, Lewis and Hamilton were not 100%, Rozier went out at the beginning of the year. Safety Covington led the team in rushing the year before, and the other safety Rodgers was a converted QB after Bynam got kicked off,IRC. Carson Hill our best corner was out as well and lost Henry Chubb to career ending concussion.
You can't forget the fact that last year Foster was put in the WR spot due to a stupid coach's decision. If not his numbers would be up there. Edwards probably has better athletes around him making him have 2 national championships. Doesn't mean he's a better player.

You also have to remember that Armanti didnt play in 4 games, and was still less than 100 passing yards away from being the only player EVER to throw for 2000 and run for 1000 yards and it was his second season.

looking back through the stats and numbers don't lie; we can all say that in the first two years Edwards is the better player. Foster had one pass attempt playing behind chaz williams in year one. Year two had 800+ passing yards with 1500 rushing. Year one for Edwards 2200 passing and 1200 rushing and year two 1900 passing and 1600 rush.
He's been fantastic, but you're smoking some awesome stuff if you think he has ANY real chance to win the Heisman. He'd be competing with the likes of Knowshon Moreno, Tim Tebow, Pat White, Chase Daniel, Sam Bradford, Graham Harrell, Chris Wells, etc. Edwards would have to throw for 5000, run for 1500, combine for 50+ touchdowns, and beat a I-A team again to even be considered as a finalist.

Well GSU has played some good Div 1 Teams also (Not 07) UGA (2000, 2004, 2008) year...FLA, FSU, Auburn, Oregan State a few years back. (To say Michigan was a good team when you played them might be overstating. They were certainly hyped - but wound up with 3 other loses....in the PAC 10....
Well Wisconsin and Ohio State are no slouches! Neither is Oregon (when Dixon plays). You need to remember that they were undefeated in Big 10 play up till the Wisconsin game.
Well- Certainly Oregon showed Michigan how well they played with Dixon. Wisconsin had a pretty good year - but played some close non-conference games that should have not been (UNLV and Citadel). It will see how OSU, WISC and UMICH will do against SEC teams in the bowls. Illinois in the Rose Bowl does not Sound Right.

-GSU had a terrible coach that ruined the program in 2006.

Let's see...I was at the Championship Game in Chattanooga and I don't remember seeing Georgia Southern on either side of the ball...hmmm...a win in regular season or a win in the Championship game?...I'll take ANOTHER National Championship WIN!! Go Mountaineers!!

If you beat Furman.. exactly, you couldnt even beat a team that finished 6-5. How can you say you got fucked from the playoffs when you couldnt even beat a team barely over 500? You beat us, yes, you did, but we were able to accomplish every teams goal, a championship, you were not. A great win for Georgia Southern, no doubt.
Appy was freaking loaded this year! The Edwards kid is a total stud! However, for GSU, 7-4 didn't get it done. Unexcusable losses to Chattanooga & Furman sealed the deal. Nevertheless, a great turnaround year under Coach Hatcher. We've got some work to do replacing Foster and most of the offensive line.

We suffered a lot of injuries and had a young defense, Lewis and Hamilton were not 100%, Rozier went out at the beginning of the year. Safety Covington led the team in rushing the year before, and the other safety Rodgers was a converted QB after Bynam got kicked off,IRC. Carson Hill our best corner was out as well and lost Henry Chubb to career ending concussion.

You can't forget the fact that last year Foster was put in the WR spot due to a stupid coach's decision. If not his numbers would be up there. Edwards probably has better athletes around him making him have 2 national championships. Doesn't mean he's a better player.

You also have to remember that Armanti didnt play in 4 games, and was still less than 100 passing yards away from being the only player EVER to throw for 2000 and run for 1000 yards and it was his second season.
All I am saying is GSU fans are saying Foster is better than Armanti, and that may be so, but Armanti still has 2 more years to shine

looking back through the stats and numbers don't lie; we can all say that in the first two years Edwards is the better player. Foster had one pass attempt playing behind chaz williams in year one. Year two had 800+ passing yards with 1500 rushing. Year one for Edwards 2200 passing and 1200 rushing and year two 1900 passing and 1600 rush.

He's been fantastic, but you're smoking some awesome stuff if you think he has ANY real chance to win the Heisman. He'd be competing with the likes of Knowshon Moreno, Tim Tebow, Pat White, Chase Daniel, Sam Bradford, Graham Harrell, Chris Wells, etc. Edwards would have to throw for 5000, run for 1500, combine for 50+ touchdowns, and beat a I-A team again to even be considered as a finalist.

Well GSU has played some good Div 1 Teams also (Not 07) UGA (2000, 2004, 2008) year...FLA, FSU, Auburn, Oregan State a few years back. (To say Michigan was a good team when you played them might be overstating. They were certainly hyped - but wound up with 3 other loses....in the PAC 10....

Well Wisconsin and Ohio State are no slouches! Neither is Oregon (when Dixon plays). You need to remember that they were undefeated in Big 10 play up till the Wisconsin game.

Well- Certainly Oregon showed Michigan how well they played with Dixon. Wisconsin had a pretty good year - but played some close non-conference games that should have not been (UNLV and Citadel). It will see how OSU, WISC and UMICH will do against SEC teams in the bowls. Illinois in the Rose Bowl does not Sound Right.

Funny, maybe you should add into this video the late hit by 28 aimed to injure Armanti Edwards, or the GSU player being sat down for an "injury" by an official so that a timeout could be taken (this "injuried" player jogged quickly off the field as soon as medical attention arrived).
