Damn, I would certainly NOT try to outrun a Dobermann either, LOL. I wonder what would happen if a Dobermann came at that speed and hit a trespasser! That would hurt a lot more than a bullet. But of course, he'd have to slow down before grabbing a good hold. But still, I wouldn’t want to be grinded under a Dobermann’s jaws either. What a good way to exercise him, by the way.
I don't know, how dangerous is this, thinking of the dog getting hit by a car? But compared to how the majority of dogs live, yours must be in 'paradise', this is exactly what these dogs need!!
Wow, 30 MPH is a 2:00 mile and your dog just did one !! I have a 2yo Dobie and wondered how fast he could do a mile, I think I just found out. I timed mine in the 100 yard dash, he did 7.6 seconds. Dobies are amazing runners.

But be careful running him on asphalt. It cuts up their paws badly. =/
