  • Benim memleketim cök guzeldir

  • No one can say Giresun is Pontos. Because Giresun did not established by Greek people or Turkish people. Greek people and Turkish people settled down there almost in the same time. Himm i think i should tell to my Greek friends. People from Giresun so nationalist. If something happen to Turkey Giresunian people are going to protect Turkey in the front. Anyway i have a lot of Greek friends, we are so similar sometimes we talk about those things and they are pretty fun:)

  • giresun is turkısh pearl

  • Muslims of Pontic Greek origins, speakers of the Pontic language -Rumca, which is spoken by many people in Tonya, Maçka, Sürmene, Çaykara, and Dernekpazarı districts of Trabzon. The total number of the speakers may be guessed; roughly 250,000. Ömer Asan estimated the number of people of Pontian Greek descent in Turkey at about 300,000 in 1996 (see Pontos Kültürü). 5 minutes ago

  • pontian69 ; i just wanted to thank you as a Turkish for sharing this and understanding the humanity that so many Rums and Turks cannot.

  • the gentleman turks know about the kersous and trapezous origins and the names of choron and greek dances they agree that the turks living together with greeks learn the rum language and dances so!even turks do that!but not the cobans only the educated people!not all turks are the same!the finest turks for me are the selchuks they now about proud and honour!göktürks and mixes of turks are the most uneducated and liars here on youtube!

  • I am Froooom Giresun Nice Video...!

  • it is not important who killed him or why he was killed/executed

the important thing is he fought for the turkish nation thus he is a Hero

  • @kuzey28, sorry to hear that you think like that. A fighter isn't always a Hero. Their are many hero's who never pick up a gun, people who save lives, not take them. I understand Turkeys war for independence (from who?) was important in the creation of todays Turkey, unfortunately it was at the price of many innocent people.

A True hero is the Turk who helped the Innocent family's escape the knife of the blood thirsty Tsetes, some Turks even risked their own lives in doing so, they are hero's.

  • @pontian69

Can tell me what the connection was between topal osman and the pontien costume worn by him ?

  • Topal is wearing the clothing of the local people, we seem to think that only the pontians wore the "zipkas" but it was all along the black sea, the georgians, etc... He had local army (as you see in the image on the sign) who had the same clothing...

  • @karanickolas Çepni Türks (in giresun) ,Pontians and georgians very mix in black sea..

    why?

example one pontian was die, Turks say; he/she is muslim :)

example one Turks was die, pontians and georgians say;he is ortodox :) etc etc.. Maybe pontians hate Turks.. but we want freedom in blacksea.. ok! your family was live in blacksea... but this is very different.. you know..All ortodoxes come to Trabzon in sumela.. but Turks fight them?* no! Blacksea is Turk now...

  • greeks are very sneaky people..in internet they write pontos is greek but when they travel to karadeniz then they become very friendly to the local people :D

topal osman is not a slaughterer he is a hero! he beat the shit out of the greek bandits.. accept your defeat like a real men stop with the bitching

  • @kuzey28 how did Topal your Hero die? Please tell us all...

  • he was executed because he kidnapped and murdered trabzon MP

i think the story of osman would make a good movie

  • @kuzey28 , you forgot to mention who executed him... come on, say it... Who Executed, without a trial or court hearing, your Hero!

  • trial? that was impossible because he died in a gunfight

  • @kuzey28 hang on, you just said executed... are you sure...come on, even wikipedia says "His body was later hanged in front of the Turkish Parliament " ... why would they do this to a National HERO????????

  • Hi bestgokturk,

Good that you accept they were also greeks (rums) in Giresun till 1922.

Original name of Giresun is kerassus/kerassounda.

But remember that only rums that did not converted to islam did left Turkey (only christians had to leave following the Traite of Lausanne). The islamic "rums" did stay there and finally mixed with other turkish populations. But some are still speaking the original language which is antique hellenic dialect (romeyka).

    Peace to all Karadeniz region

  • Forever Turkic-Helenic peace.Forever our soul :)

  • also peace for us, we have the blue blood of black sea. I like my people, all pontias. We have an spezial charekter.

  • The black sea and Giresun(Kerasounta)Turkish Republic, and It will stay for ever in the turk.

  • Sure thing, and why shouldn't it ? have we stated anything else? Please, don't be afraid of a simple video and music, showing people their ancestor's homeland.... oh, and you shouldn't worry if it wasn't true either!!

  • I love Giresun

  • Giresun is a City of Turkish Republic...so, we r proud of being Turkish and being grandsons of Osman Aga... don't be fool you idiots, game over...

and don't forget this, you started it and we finished it...

we lived in harmony with "others" for many years but you prefer to coorporate with enemies and faught with your neigbours...

did you say pontos??? ohh that's only an unbelievable dream for you anymore...

    shame on you greedy betrayers!!!

  • IF you are grandsons of Osman Aga you must be upset that Turkey sentenced him to death without a trial (was hung from what I recall)!!!

    Interesting history kardasim!

  • We arent upset that Osman Aga is killed by the Turkish government. It doesnt matter. We are grandsons from Osman Aga and we will die for Turkey. No matter he is killed by governemt soldiers leading by Ataturk.

There are statues of Osman Aga and Ataturk in Giresun and we love them both.

Greetings from Giresun and I love the song and Video

  • Thank you, it is sad, but we must look forward...

  • LISTEN greeks I´M FROM GIRESUN!! WE ARE PROUD THAT WE ARE TURKISH!! Why can´t people hundreds of kilometers from other nations let us in peace. We are proud to be who we are. We are Turkish! We are LAZ! ="cerkez" = that means caucasian turks! You have your own culture and we have ours.Don´t behave as thieves. Don´t be JEALOUS!

    With love...your adelphos / kardes.

  • Listen ozay, sorry but,as laz,for sure, you are not turk!Religion is the only bridge between laz and turk.Laz are Kartvelian Georgian(laz language is not altaic/turkic but indo-european).Laz are also not cerkez!Turks came in the region very late. They have just mixed themselves with other islamic population like laz,cerkez,kurds,..

Giresun is a city which was founded be ionians (greeks) with the name kerassus. Ok, today Giresun is turk. But thousands of rums in Greece are originated from Giresun!

  • Hello my Pontuslu ahbap, how are you doing?

Giresun is probably the cutest city on the Black Sea coast. I have many friends from there. Lemme quickly say sth about Yarbay Topal Osman Aga. He is one of the myriad heroes of our Independence War. Not a slaughterer. Simple and plain.

He wasn't put to death penalty - he was killed in a conspiracy which targeted Mustafa Kemal's life. But surely he had many foes who also wandered around Mustafa Kemal.

  • Anyway, I am happy to see that you haven't left out the Green Giresun.

In$allah one day you can come back visit Giresun again. Thanx for the UL, Pontian69! Ciao.

  • Thanks for the Post... :)

  • I have this song on mp3, what's it about?

  • lol to chetnik why do you have this on your mp3? hellenic turks and hellenic greeks has nothing to do with chetniks lol. nice vids and verry nice music

    greetings Turkish

  • Because I am Balkan, that's why.

  • well on the other hand thats right, we are all balkans :)

  • :D yep

  • we balkans are all the same only the biggest diffrence is that we have diffrent religion and its not even that big diffrence, bosnian muslims and turkish muslims are the most tolerant i mean i drink most Raki lol go out and stuff :D but i really disagree with your name chetnik.

  • Ya, really that's the only difference. And i'm sorry if my name offends you, but I've just been using it a screen name and stuff for years... otherwise it would be something much less war-related :D What is Raki?

  • Raki is Turkish alcohol drink Greeks have it to Bosnians have it to Search it on google.

    Greetings
