  • This is your brain.

This is your brain on drugs.

  • lol

  • mac fail

  • my hard drive still broke. LOL

  • whats wrong wit ya?

  • He is fried!!!

  • Not Use Drugs Childrens!

  • Could anyone tell me how a four second video is longer than four seconds?

  • lol yeah i noticed that

  • because its 40 seconds

  • @Bellwestern80 was wondering the exact same thing...

  • that chair is 29rpm!

  • You saved me to much time and money! Thank you, this works perfectly!

  • That's insane... There is no logic to how that could cause it to work. either it wasn't broken to begin with, or you weren't using it... browsing the internet typically is done with ram and rarely goes to the hard drive if you already have the cookies that you need.A computer can run without a hard drive so long as the hard drive was there to boot up. It isn't until you try to use the non-existent drive (will happen without control every 1-2 minutes, then it will bluescreen.. good luck though...

  • He's using a Mac, they don't bluescreen ;)

  • So your saying that when it connects to a web page it don't download files to the HDD like pictures and scripts to display the webpage? and also SWF files and it don't need a web browser thats saved on the hdd?

  • No, it is stored in the memory, the hard drive holds the data but when it is in use, it does not stream from the HDD. The HDD is way too slow, the RAM is way faster, so, it takes the data from the HDD and puts it in the RAM. It accesses it from there. When it say, loads this video, it is stored in the hard drive, but once it is stored, it is put into memory and accessed. when you clear the temp files or it reaches its quota it deletes it from the HDD. When you exit the page, it deletes from RAM.

  • =.=

  • WIKKED TRACK!

  • For people who want an actual fix try putting the hard drive in the freezer this often helps if the read head gets stuck due to the presure inside of the hard drive getting messed up.

  • Except that you fail to mention that half the time this ends up making matters worse as there is a tendency for condensation to build inside the drive.

  • That's why you don't keep it in there for very long. 5-10 minutes, max.

  • that is a wrong statement. it would be an hour or more in one hour intervals

  • i put mine in for about 5 hours and then i wrapped it in a towel to soak up and condensation that occurred on the hard drive or whatever that thingy is called

i warmed it back up to room temperature and then it worked

and its still working, im using it right now

lasting for about 1 1/2 months now

  • Wrap the HDD in a towel, put it in 2 zip lock bags and put it in there

  • what?????

  • That is a fcuking parody. SPOOF!

  • ¬¬

  • I had this problem before! I just sat on a rocking chair and backed up my files... (four HOURS or rocking) lol

  • hehehehh

  • OK, what was the procedure? I don't get this. We know the video didnt work, so what did you do exactly?

  • it was a working hd in the first place it had never failed

  • wtf?

  • ok that could work but you have to go fast and maeke sure the spinde is moving

  • ya like 7200 rpm

  • lol ahahahahaha

  • what???!

  • how does that work :S

  • 0_O ok

  • wierd...but it accually worked O.O

  • strange:P

  • WTF?

  • It should have been a two minute show (76 Mb) but for some reason which I cannot understand the system only took a four second excerpt!!!
