Hi if you're in the US I think they call it Corn syrup. It's a pale treacle. Put it into google and it will tell you the various names and where to get in your Country in Wikipedia. If you can get the original golden syrup you should try it on toast - yummy - great in all sorts of cooking too.

my mum makes some similar chocolate sauce out of butter and coco powder which tastes really good, we have it whenever we have pears which is also really good but is what you have to do is eat the pears then the chocolate sauce and everything tastes good with golden syrup in...although I am not so sure about pizza.....
