hi,is this how they make rice crispies? i never knew that rice crispies was fried.did you have to soak the rice first and then clean it? and if so how much time did you soak your rice for?this was so good to watch.
@skidgalning Dumb? Think about it... Heat rises , And the exploded rice is full of airholes, the heat sends it up like a balloon!. The unpopped rice has no holes , so it lurks in the middle until it explodes, and the black sand, being heavier stays at the bottom, having the added benefit of distributing more heat. DUMB?

Its black Sand, this has the benefit of having much more gravity than hot airy puffed rice.
