  • Anne Jackson was quite beautiful, wasn't she? Very classy stuff -- and Alan Arkin -- what a gorgeous hunk of man!!!!

  • Notice that Shatner is wearing an actual tuxedo. Bennett said that usually the males on the panel and John Daly wore a dark business suit with a bow tie that looked close enough like a tux on b&w TV.

  • Hehe can't remember alan arkin had this much hair!...glad that 4 of the person from this episode is still alive :)

  • Wow! Anne Jackson's style is timeless! She could walk on stage today with that same hair and the same dress and look just as beautiful.

  • I was lucky enough to meet Mr.Wallach..and he is really a sweet and kindly gentleman..nothing like mean and abusive finks that he played on screen.

  • Captain Kirk and Tuco? 2 great legends and both still alive.

  • @ozzy2pac Wallach turned 98 just last week

  • My.... Even though I've seen several films with Eli, I always picture him so strongly as the terribly sunbeaten Tuco that I have problems remembering how he really looks like.

  • Poor Dorothy is on prescription meds here, her speech is a bit off , Kerri told me (her daughter9

  • @dtw1958 kerri her daughter was that after the sex change. kerry was her third child a boy. Jill, Dickie, Kerry were dorothy and dick kollmar's childred

  • Wow, didn't Alan Arkin look like a lot of fun? ... Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, married 62 years, one of the longest show biz marriages. ... Eli Wallach, who'll turn 95 in December, is still acting! He'll be given an honorary Oscar in November at the 2d Annual Governors Awards.

  • Thank you for this clip. How gorgeous Anne Jackson, Eli Wallach and Alan Arkin look!!

  • great great and underrated actors/actress ! all three of them. Eli was never nominated for an oscar. i think thats just a shame.

  • Alan Arkin was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very cute back then -- I would have married him!!!! LOL!!!

  • I much prefer Canada's "Front Page Challenge" - had a similar format, but the guests were INTERVIEWED after revealing their identity; here they're allowed a quip or two and then they walk off! Very frustrating.

  • Eli and Shatner are awesome. Both still alive and kicking.

  • Oh to have been an adult in New York in the 50s and 60s...what fantastic incredible superb talent to view back then...I would have given anything....

  • Arlene is so sharp here.

  • this seems to be another exaample of when Mr. John Daly, simply disregards the flipping of the score cars - the idea of paying out $50. ....for a TV appearance is almost an insult at best- - Funny The Producers never raised the pay-out over the years ?

  • Truth be told, regular contestants received $500 just for appearance while mystery guests got $750, so there was more than just the $50.

  • William Shatner and Eli Wallach are two fine actors.

  • Alan Arkin was born in 1934

  • Tuco should drag them all through the desert.

  • except Captain Kirk who would find a way to escape and turn the tide!

  • anne jackson is so beautiful...sexy...

  • That's right. Speaking of Blyden: Larry Blyden made his first guest panelist appearances while in the cast of "Luv."

Wow married 63 years -- not many of THAT vintage still around.

  • I'm sure everyone will be delighted to learn that Eli Wallach (born 1915) and Anne Jackson (born 1926) are not only still around but also remain married to each other (they married in 1948).

Alan Arkin (born 1926) is also still with us. He is the father of Adam Arkin, the actor.

  • Incidentally, according to Wikipedia: "Barbara Bel Geddes, Larry Blyden, Gene Wilder, and Gabriel Dell were among the replacement performers later in the run [of the play Luv]."

    About Luv:

"A mix of absurdist humor and traditional Broadway comedy more in the Neil Simon vein...Luv concerns two college friends...who are reunited when the latter stops the former from jumping off a bridge, the play's setting. Each discovers the other is equally miserable as they share hard-luck stories." - Wiki

  • Alan Arkin just won an Oscar a couple of years ago for Little Miss Sunshine.

  • @LindaSetonCase

His last nomination was in 1968 for "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter" in which he played a deaf/mute. he lost to Cliff Robertson in "Charly" both actors portrayed challenged individuals

  • Jan 1965 videotape session: William Shatner in his early luscious period, appeared twice on WML to plug his CBS drama / mid-season replacement. It flopped so resoundingly I can't quite remember the title. Thank heaven it didn't succeed: heaven only knows who Roddenberry would have cast as Kirk in Star Trek I.

  • I Don't know Anne Jackson, but any play with her and Arkin and Wallach must have been something to behold, [;^>) even if it's righter didn't no how too spel.

( 3:32 ) This has to be Ms. Kilgallen's biggest hair ever. How did she remain upright?

  • Haha agreed about DK's hair. She was so tiny which just accentuated the hair even more! But we still love you, DK :)
