Fruits and Veggies here in Massachusetts are great, we have alot of local organic produce. I think Cali is the Govs laboratory.As far as water, my town has the best drinking water in the world. Usually a farmer can buy seed, grow the plants and take the seed from those plants and plant them the following year. But with GMO's farmers are forced to buy new seeds every year from the company that manufactured the GMO. They are getting screwed too.
i think the reason so many fruits seem less sweet are: 1. The companies pick fruit before they are ripe (so that they won't spoil during traveling so many miles) and use a chemical spray to make them look ripe. They look ripe but are not. 2. Food companies put sugar in EVERYTHING which makes people like them more So you likely have a much higher tolerance to sugars. I went on a sugar diet (very little sugar/processed foods) for about a year and now everything taste too sweet to me.

Plus, we are only now beginning to see the effects of these foods/hormones etc. on our bodies. What you save at the grocery stores you'll likely pay out later in medical bills.

@andrefrbk B.S. If companies wasn't so greedy and let nature take its course, everything will be alright. The earth never had problem producing food. As a matter of fact... there was too much for my family to eat when we grew our own fruit and vegetables. And what in the hell is organic? Some old B.S. term used by greedy companies to charge even more money for food. The Love of Money is their motivator, PERIOD!!

@andrefrbk Yeah, but organic food may not be as safe as they think and has no real benefits over regular store bought food or for that matter taste any better.

Food nowadays is really terrible. Im allergic to almost everything, because of the chemicals. I stopped eating fruit instead I supplement the needed vitamins/minerals.
