I smashed our family's wii, but I did it because it was taking over my kids life and no matter how many rules we set in place, they were rarely followed and it caused a lot of emotional distress between my game addicted kids. I took it in the garage after one particularly emotional fight over the wii and I took a hammer to it. Now I have my kids back. We are building a playhouse in the backyard and my kids now ride their bikes a lot more.
