  • Excellent! I am making this one!

  • Love Quinoa. Beautiful dish!

  • @heartsafecooking Thanks, I love quinoa too. I had never had it as a pasta until recently. It was good.

  • This looks fantastic!! beautiful colors! It looks full of flavor and delicious goodness!! I have never had quinoa pasta either, is it better than whole wheat? lol I dont' like whole wheat pasta! so maybe quinoa is a better option!! :D Yummy!!

  • @slolita1 This was a very easy and tasty lunch. If I were you, I'd just use regular pasta unless you are allergic to wheat. But in my opinion quinoa pasta does taste more like regular pasta than whole wheat does. I never liked that either. I still have a strong memory of regular pasta since I've only been gluten free for 5 months. All the gluten free pastas have the same amount of calories as regular pasta so whatever you use it won't make much difference.

  • Delicious and so colorful!! Thx for this video.

  • @ilikethewok Thanks, Yes it is very colorful and delicious too.

  • I've never had quinoa pasta before - this looks delicious! Thank you! :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thanks for commenting. It was very good. It tastes just like basic pasta but I notice it is a little less starchy than regular pasta.

  • Ha... I learned something... I always wondered what Quinoa was and I always assumed it was a fruit of some kind. I guess I was thinking it was a cousin of Cumquats. I love those little guys.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

  • @fatlossbydesign Wow! I can't believe I've never had a Cumquat. Now you have me wanting to hunt one down to taste it. Always something new to try. :D

  • I bet that Quinoa pasta is nutty tasting! I like that lemon zest and basil pesto that would be so good on lots of things! I am truly beginning to think that you are Italian under the hood! It looks delicious Anne, but then again I have not seen you make anything that I would not eat! Oh yeah! Red pepper flakes baby......bring the heat!

  • @MrEZCooking How could you have guessed. Yep all Italian born and raised and the gluten free kitchen is killing me at times. It's like all the old family recipes fly out the window. But it helps that I like to dabble in everything. And especially red pepper. I have an episode on here with chili pepper infused chocolate truffles.

  • @EZGlutenFree I don't know how I guessed it! Must be your accent!.....:) With all the new gluten free pasta products coming out I am sure you will be able to make the bulk of the recipes that you like and you know as far as I am concerned I love red pepper so I am waiting the the Truffle video.

    Ciao Bambina!
