  • mm i guess if u like that finish just use a silver as a primer then go over in that black!

  • Dude your Gundam looks Fucken Epic! yo Nice. battle damaged! he looks like he kicked some Ass and took names Big time.Nice job

  • MUCH BETTER

  • 00 Repair? I'm currently trying to do this custom on my 1/144 00 raiser. Looks great!

  • put it up for auction i'd bid

  • cant wait 4 pg 00 quanta

  • you should put large scar on a gundam one day

  • i like what u did with the scuff marks...and i like how you did the paint job too, good job

  • What brand of paints did you use for the outer frame? What were the names of the colors? Would the weathering look as good without painting the outer frame?

  • DAM this bitch has the guts

  • what type of spray did u used for the inner frame? tamiya/mr hobby or so?

  • talking about your future technique in the inner frames, have you try using as you say the silver color and then use the color x-19 from tamiya (smoke) ????

  • i have a question.. how do you paint things..? every time i paint my stuff they get stiff

  • omg dude if you carved out like a half circle on the red side waist thing to look like a beam saber was stabbing towards the 00's cockpit but missed that would have been so amazing but i have to say thats one good looking model

  • did you do any damage to the inner frame....or is that completly just the paints doing?

  • Hi Vegeta I had a quick and important question. For the inner frames that you painted, did you basically paint ALL of the black tree pieces silver/metallic black? Because I'm about to spray paint mine and I was wondering if I should just paint all the black pieces anyway since you said you painted the inner frames, but not all the black trees/pieces say "PG frame" at the top.

Also, did you use Acrylic paint?

  • battle damaging a model like this must take some though consider its price tag. I am still not sure what to do with mine solely because I dont want to ruin it. Im thinkin about a color scheme of like a Wing Zero version mainly because i want to add more veriety to it.

  • cool effects but the shield bits are majorly overdone with the animal "claw like" slashes . If you were going to do that then you would have been better having the slashes across both shield bits so when you put them together you can see the full battle scar

  • amazing battle damage like omfg

  • This Look totally awesome!

  • wow, that was awesome.. also thank you for your battle damage tutorial..

  • Bit too much damage there for my tastes, but it is well done man.

  • How long does it take to build a PG?

  • it looks so cool.

  • NICE :D ! you's got balls to do that to a pg if that were me i would NEVER wreck a pg :S i wish i had money to dish out on that LOL

  • I am new at customizing so this is going to be a stupid question, but how do you do the scuff marks on like the katars and the knees and elbows and such. did you sand them with the drimmal or some other way.

  • hey idk if anybody has told u this or uve tried it alrdy but maybe if u add a little bit of brown like a light and dark brown to the white then use the silver....then after that u cud add little dabs of the light brown...to add layers/depth....idk just a suggestion...

  • looks great, thanks for the update. I really like the metal inner frame look.

  • real gritty video quality..

  • Nice!

  • awesome done, have you put any pictures out on any forum so we can see better?

Btw, did you try adding first black then silver on the white parts?

  • amazing how the kit looked like "diecast" than plastic! great painting skills!

  • Damn that battle damage looks sexy =P

  • Damn, that's nice. Vegeta, I wish I could learn how to paint like that, or at all... I barely panel line. XD

How exactly do you do it? Just break up the parts and use spray paint?

  • it was really awesome........ but you totally wasted your time doing the other color scheme

  • man!!! i love this battle damage version. keep it up!! 5/5

  • that "accident" turned out really nice somehow...

  • @zversus and its these accidents that dont happen in CGI! (off topic kinda but just saying!) Craft over computers!

  • it looks awesome

  • Nice work so far man...

  • looks great.

  • You have the courage man!!! I dare not even make a single scratch on my PG 00 raiser.

  • =\ Im not really diggin the battle damaged theme. Reminds me of when I used to drag my toys on concrete. But you really did a good job recreating battle scars

  • the silver and white looks fine to me it looks very authentic

  • Thats a very nice battle damage version.

    GJ!

  • Great battle damage work on the 00. I can't wait to see the finished model.

  • nice battle damage looks like factory made

  • it looks like a damage gundam 00..makes it look more realistic in my opinion

  • arent there japanese magazines that feature gundams? if there is you should submit yours! so good

  • Your weathering is some of the best I've ever seen, even on gunpla forums. Can't wait for the review, btw you should totally do a weathering tutorial some time!

  • sir, this is amazing! the weathering really gives this model a real life feel. as 4 the white, my advice is 2 use a very fine brush n apply nearly black gray to the edges, then put silver on top, it gives more contrast. have a look in my blog 2 see what I'm talking. anyway, can't wait 2 finally see a good review on this model!

  • Can youmake a vid on how you made that mattalic grey?

  • just spray with mattalic and go over with some gray (clear or reduced)

  • It has the look that a gundam must have after a battle dude! :O It's just awesome ;D excellent paint work :D

  • nice color!! and the rest looks good, the black on silver is really great idea!!!

  • the battle damaged version looks really cool but when are you gonna review it

  • that should look great with the lights on too, triumphant over adversity.

maybe the one beam mark on the face of the shield could be a bit corroded or half melted?

  • looks gnarly, space roadburn haha. would be sweet maybe in a battle diorama or display with another PG

  • love the way it looks keep it up

  • thats amazing i love your kit u did a great job

the battle damage awsome u ROOK

    XD

  • yay you got final fantasy xiii too :))

  • add some likes to the GN drives to make it look like they're cracking from like intense usage from fights. be super cool

  • Lots of guts to do this to your PG. Loving how it looks. Can we get a damage tutorial?

  • Amazing job, especially with the candy finish blue. i'm not one to weather my models, but you pulled it off perfectly!.

  • Damn that thing has been under painting for long time. Still it looks kinda good with that battle damage look.

  • wow i liked the original color scheme a lot better but the silver inner frame was killer in the other one as well.

Damn battle damage pg... i would prefer the "i'm invincible look i'm spotless" scheme better. lol

but this looks pretty awesome as is.

  • Well done.

The battle damage looks very natural.

The frame looks great as well.

Looking forward to that huge review!

    Happy St. Patricks Day!

    :)

  • looks just like Gundam 00 Got hit by a Giant Beam Cannon =0

  • it looks really nice, but when I first looked at it, I noticed that the head was not as weathered as the rest of the body. Maybe do some more weathering on the head and face? I think it'll help more, but it could just be the camera quality interfering with what I'm seeing.

  • Man This looks AMAZING!!!!

  • looking good

  • man that thing looks trashed...........looking good man. I like to do weather on my MG kits, but wow doing it on a PG kit would be a lot of work. Well done sir

  • I definitely dig this more than your original concept, even if its not a custom scheme. The battle damage looks very good, can't wait to see pictures! I can hardly finish painting a MG, it's amazing you can put up with this big guy. Very cool project!

  • looking good, are those battle damaged blue parts on the shield/dagger things carved out or just paint because I cant tell on the vid?

  • yeah, I carved them out with a Dremel, then painted in the silver

  • @vegeta8259 well no that you had time to get hte colour again, i was wondering what is your trick for getting the inner frame that colour cause in the vid you said you werent really sure i was just wondering if you figureed out how to reproduce it again.

  • damn that looks amazing Vegeta!!!

you should TOTALLY take this to a contest!! im SURE you would win by FAR!!!

  • a weathering vid would be kinda cool too see

  • that is just fucking amazing 5/5 for the effort bro the kit is coming out great loving the colours scehem and especially the battle damage well done :) 5/5

  • i wish ypu kept the first color sceem but whatever i know why you did it i reed your blog anyways i normaly dont like heavy batle damage but i like this(you dont consider this heavy but i do)

    and one more this

YOU LEAV YOUR PARTS OUTSIDE O.O

i would never do that to afraid it would get lost in the wind or fall over and fall down. anyways looks great cant w8 to see it finished

  • that looks sick man !

    awsome job.

  • it's beautiful :D

  • I was looking forward to the custom colour scheme but its your kit, however the battle damage is looking great.

Did you use the dry brush technique for the battle damage, or some other method?

  • Wheres the hat?
