brhino: Thanks for commenting. Pike actually came down to Milltown Reservoir from the Clearwater-Blackfoot in the first place. Now, the latest data from fish biologists is showing that pike numbers have decreased dramatically since the removal of Milltown Dam. The warm, slack water of Milltown reservoir used to provide ideal habitat for pike -- now, without this habitat, pike numbers are dropping in the mainstem Clark Fork.
Trout Spawning? The Milltown Dam was a natural barrier to the Pike in the lower Clarkfork. NOW they can spawn in the pristine Blackfoot. Good bye Cutthroat, Hello idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!
