Disney has gone down the toilet. I miss running to the tv for Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, and Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers. I am currently almost 18 and can't believe the crap that kids have to watch. It isn't just on Disney channel either. As an example, let's look at the 2003 Ninja Turtles Series. At first it started out as a dark, somewhat intellectual series that was loyal to the fans of the original comic and brought in new fans at the same time. Now what did that turn in to? The insult to Peter Laird and the Ninja Turtes called Fast Forward and Back to the Sewers.

Replacing Toon Disney with Disney XD the worst move Disney ever pulled.....it was a stab in the back to the classic fans who loved watching their classic cartoons. @RageDimension I never said CN was ok. They are getting lazy, importing Canadian cartoons that honestly belong more on TeenNick, and CN Real. CN REAL, WTF! I'm glad they shut the block down and most of the CN Real shows. Hopefully the CN execs will stop smoking what they are smoking, and take a look back at their old shows and see what made them great, and use that to make better shows and blocks. It would be nice if they made another sister channel to Boomerang that aired original CN shows.
It sucks to miss out all of the old Disney stuff, but there are already DVD's of the Disney Afternoon cartoons still available elsewhere which is good news. :) I also missed Super Robot Monkey Team HF Go on Jetix, which was always my fav, but the cancellation left out only just how it should have ended and no new season at all! >:(

Toon disney back then when i was small was the bestest channel i ever seen i could never stop watching it until later the new toon disney with the red logo came. they stopped showing my great shows like sonic and stuff it stopped.i was upset at disney for that and hoping it will come back.then later things got worse toon disney was gone when i woke up last morning last year i couldn't believe it. i was hot i woke up at 7:00am to see Disney XD.Jetex is gone with toon disney.i was so upset

it ended in the uk nd ireland in 2006 after only 6 years! yes it strted over here in 2000 (the year i was born) it was replayced over here by Disney Cinemagic witch is good channel it shows a lot of disney movies and i dont mean disney channel movies i mean DISNEY movies! i remember the day i turned the tv over to toon disney and there was meggage in the screen saying Disney Cinemagic coming soon! i still love disney channel great shows like fish hooks phineas nd ferb and many more but i only

I am currently almost 18 and can't believe the crap that kids have to watch. It isn't just on Disney channel either. As an example, let's look at the 2003 Ninja Turtles Series. At first it started out as a dark, somewhat intellectual series that was loyal to the fans of the original comic and brought in new fans at the same time. Now what did that turn in to? The insult to Peter Laird and the Ninja Turtes called Fast Forward and Back to the Sewers.

Replacing Toon Disney with Disney XD the worst move Disney ever pulled.....it was a stab in the back to the classic fans who loved watching their classic cartoons. They pulled the only channel that aired our memories...and replaced it with the current Disney Channnel targeted for tween boys and mixed with what used to be Jetix. And hey, Nick and CN may have changed, but at least they put our memories on Boomerang and Nicktoons. Disney XD = Disney's middle finger to it's retro fans,

@RageDimension I never said CN was ok. They are getting lazy, importing Canadian cartoons that honestly belong more on TeenNick, and CN Real. CN REAL, WTF! I'm glad they shut the block down and most of the CN Real shows. Hopefully the CN execs will stop smoking what they are smoking, and take a look back at their old shows and see what made them great, and use that to make better shows and blocks. It would be nice if they made another sister channel to Boomerang that aired original CN shows.

It sucks to miss out all of the old Disney stuff, but there are already DVD's of the Disney Afternoon cartoons still available elsewhere which is good news. :) I also missed Super Robot Monkey Team HF Go on Jetix, which was always my fav, but the cancellation left out only just how it should have ended and no new season at all! >:(

My favorite show on Toon Disney is House of Mouse! It had every single classic Disney character ever made, and honored everything classic Disney! And me and my sibs used to watch the Big Movie Show every day after school! :)
Now, no one in my family, even my little sisters, who are big Disney Channel fans, like Disney XD. It's like a a second Disney Channel for boys! >:-(

Ugghh it makes me sad to see these things. Disney, Nick, and Cartoon Network altogether are total bullshit today. When it doesn't seem too long ago, like in 1998 and stuff, (which was like 12 years ago omg so hard 2 believe) all 3 of those channels ROCKED. Now, it's all about whiny teenage girls that cry when they don't become famous pop stars. God, I'm glad that I got to grow up in the 90s and not in the 00s with Hannah Montana, ICarly, Sunny With a Chance, etc. :'(

Did Toon Disney have to die??!!!!! I mean Disney XD is no different to Jetix or Toon Disney. It's just Toon Disney and Jetix's shows and some new ones. Disney have spoilt them selves and got rid of Toon Disney like flushing it down the loo.
Anyway, I loved Toon Disney loads and loads. But it went of air on Sky Digital in 2007. SO either Toon Died or merged with Jetix. (P.S. Why wasn't there a Toon Disney +1?!)
