The lag is from my video editor, overlaying videos and such lags when it renders and uploads to youtube... Although I do believe I was downloading games on my PC so some lag is due to that as well.

This video actually helped me become a better player. One time on Rush mode on Kharg Island, I did the same thing that you did, and was able to get up to the top of that same tower you were at. Since I was so high up, I was able to practice my sniping skills without the enemies knowing where I was. That day I became a good sniper with my SV 98 (got about 6 headshots)and that wouldn't have happened if it weren't for this neat little glitch you showed me. And for that, I say, thank you :)
As I have mentioned many times before I rarly play as a sniper, plus, Dice virtually elminated long range sniping and still being useful to your team...
Not to mention this was recorded before I had an SV98, L96, and long range scopes, so when you have 1 gun and 2 scopes what else would you like me to use?

Where to do you put the beacon to get on the really tall tower on Caspian Border? The first time I tried it I put it in the tower and it worked, but since then I can never get it.
i've only tried once on caspian border, place it under the edge of a the platform thats see through (chain link or w/e) and make sure it's close to the base of the tower...
AVerMedia C027 HD capture card, you need a fairly powerful desktop PC, an open PCI-e slot, HDMI splitter, 3 HDMI cables and FRAPS. YouTube search the capture card for details.
I'm not sure exactly how, but you have to of owned BFBC and I'm guessing play a certain amount of time. I have over 300 hours + top rank in BFBC1, over 300 hours in BFBC2 and almost top rank and have both dog tags...
Thanks, I didn't know what the criteria was for getting the dog tags, I just know I've amassed hundreds of hours playing both games and got the dog tags because of it.
I debated showing the MAV way as well but it was already all over youtube so I just showed this way. Whenever I use this method, I place the spawn beacon and then run around killing people until I die... That way it isn't a meaningless death.
on gulf a oman, if you look at the big construction buildings, you see a very very high crane, higher then the buildings.....im on that every game...and yes, it does help your team win....mvp quite often up there.
I like under the map glitches better. Flechette (spelling error?) ammo is your best friend down there. 30+ n 1 only cuz u have to suicide once to spawn down there. Hella fun plus is fun to just revive teammates that die. Enemies trip the fuck out when they magically get back up lololololololololololol.

@johnlewisjames Its simple. Put a MAV down. Jump on top of it (I find jumping with your back towards the MAV makes it easier as you dont jump over it). Then just ride the MAV up! Can get to some very good places!
Most snipers are inherently a detriment to their team. Sniping other snipers and not necessarily the people playing the obj. Of course there's a few people like Sgt. Enigma who can, but it seems mostly like kill-whores who try and get ridiculous marksmanship bonuses. Kinda frustrating.

I didn't stay in these games, I joined them to record the glitches/sniper spots and then I left... You missed a couple of my videos, you may want to go critque and spam them as well...
Not exploiting and not a glitch, Dice knew about it before their last patch and left it in... If they took this out people would use heli's and jets to get here, ruining the game more than what I'm doing does...
@leaf16nut It's not a glitch? You yourself titled this video "Radio Beacon glitch" and you yourself call it a glitch in some of your comments to other posters. It's a glitch - we both know that it is. Dice didn't fix it in the patch, they also didn't fix people riding on MAV's, or blowing up C4 after they die. That doesn't mean that it's justifiable to exploit a glitch.
I call it a glitch because I don't know what else to call it, and generally the word "glitch" in the title gets more views... It's really just a fortunate error in Dice's coding.
When I contacted dice/EA they informed me they were aware of both this and riding the MAV. That was well before the patch and both are still in the game.
It's not like I'm going somewhere that I can only get to by using this "glitch" it just saves jets and heli's, which is more important.
I almost always play recon, but rarely snipe long range unless we're winning, best thing to do is just put a MAV or SOFLAM at a high or good vantage point and a radio beacon close to the objective but hidden and so long as you are supported by a good team you should be fine :D

@kjn99111 That is probably because you are using a weapon that is restricted to a certain team (such as US or Russia), so if u have red dot optic on a US weapon, u wont have the weapon nor the optic when you are on team Russia. If this is not the case I don't kow what it is, I might be lucky to never have to experience it :)
@im2dopee4u the ability to put more bullets on the target, semi automatic fire is usually more effective than having to cycle your bolt back each time you acquire another target
@metalheadmobster however if you unlock the straight pull bolt for your bolt action rifle, its like having semi automatic fire, you dont have to leave scope to reload

Most snipers are inherently a detriment to their team. Sniping other snipers and not necessarily the people playing the obj. Of course there's a few people like Sgt. Enigma who can, but it seems mostly like kill-whores who try and get ridiculous marksmanship bonuses. Kinda frustrating.

this spot is perfect for.... being countersniped.Honestly mate, I love the op. firestorm map for its size and perfect clear view with many sniper spots u can witch to. But this time u deploying yourself on, yes, very high "rooftop", but, in the midle of warfare. Which means u r exposed to enemy sniper fire and not only . This is what I love to do- taking down enemy snipers from sucha silly spots like this, of course with true bolt action sniper rifle ;]

Yeah obviously... The reason this is a glitch is because I spawn on top of the tower, yes I'm placing the beacon under the edge of the top platform, that's how it works...
If you place the beacon 5 feet to the right you'll parachute and from a much lower height, nowhere else can you place the beacon and spawn on top of a building without parachuting.
If you find somewhere you can, record it and show me.

The people talking shit have probably never been able to kill anyone with a sniper unless they're using the semi autos and point blank range. Everyone came here to see badass sniper spots that are hard as hell to get too, yet somehow some people just want to talk shit about it...so what's the point of coming on here? You guys should go watch videos on how to avoid snipers while capping a flag or something if you hate people who snipe so much....besides recon doesn't need to use the sniper

It's a glitch - we both know that it is. Dice didn't fix it in the patch, they also didn't fix people riding on MAV's, or blowing up C4 after they die. That doesn't mean that it's justifiable to exploit a glitch.

I call it a glitch because I don't know what else to call it, and generally the word "glitch" in the title gets more views... It's really just a fortunate error in Dice's coding.
When I contacted dice/EA they informed me they were aware of both this and riding the MAV. That was well before the patch and both are still in the game.
It's not like I'm going somewhere that I can only get to by using this "glitch" it just saves jets and heli's, which is more important.

I almost always play recon, but rarely snipe long range unless we're winning, best thing to do is just put a MAV or SOFLAM at a high or good vantage point and a radio beacon close to the objective but hidden and so long as you are supported by a good team you should be fine :D

@kjn99111 That is probably because you are using a weapon that is restricted to a certain team (such as US or Russia), so if u have red dot optic on a US weapon, u wont have the weapon nor the optic when you are on team Russia. If this is not the case I don't kow what it is, I might be lucky to never have to experience it :)
