  • What kind of breedlove guitar is mike playing? I love these guys so much. This song is from God himself.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with the fact that we need to come to Christ as soon as we screw up. I waited a year before I went back to Him because I was afraid I still wasn't good enough, and it's something I wish I hadn't done. This song always brings such a rush of emotions through me, and it's something that I can count on for comfort no matter the issue. Last night as I was listening to this I wept, simply because I was so grateful to have a God that will always be there for me.

  • This one of my favorite songs by Tenth Avenue North! It always lights me up and gives me the strength to never give up and always keep myself on the path that the Lord has paved for me. 2 Timothy 2:4-7

  • I'm Mike this is.........Jeff :) Amazing song, love it!! This video just made my morning X100 better.

  • @mambi ummm where is the scripture to support that view?

  • WOW!!!!

  • Is that a tattoo on mike's right hand O_O

  • i'm not sure if god bless us all.. if god really exists, why here's so much bad things on world ? =( forgive my english it's not good.. i believe in god.. but i can't understand why this happened all =( god loves us.. we love god.. why he let those things happen ??? =(

  • @Mambi94 God allow that to happen because we are living in the end times, he reminding us to return to him, god love us so much that he don't want us to be in hell, because in this world its all satan work... so keep the faith burning... god is with you.. god bless!

  • @kkbcharlie i cant believe that god is with me .. but i really hope he is .. god bless you dude!!!

  • @Mambi94 I believe god is with you because he is a loving god.. he will never let you fall, just keep trusting him and always pray.. God bless you to bro..

  • @Mambi94 he lets things to happen in our lives as a sign or a call for us to return to him and commit ourselves fully to Him. I have experienced that before. You just need to answer to His call. All I can say is return to Him.

  • @Mambi94 when god made us, he had respect for us. He still does. God has so much respect for us, that he gave us something called free will. Free will allows us to make our own decisions, even if they are bad ones. God may or may not interfere with human free will, but satan always will. He will tell us to make bad decisions, and sometimes we will.... This is why we sin, and why bad things happen. God wants us back.

  • @alypaige88 HE'S THAT COOL :D

  • this song is amazing.. God is calling me back again .. i pray that our youth in church would move up into another realm of ministry.. God bless to those who made this song...

  • I love these guys :) Mike is so wise.

  • God bless all♥

  • thats all true!

  • 4:16 made my day... awesome bending. God bless u guys ^^

  • wow theyre young O_o

  • There are other more "polished" versions of this video around, but I really like this accoustic version and especially appreciate Mike's intro as he talks about this being told from Christ's perspective. I love how easily Mike is able to share the gospel message so effortlessly and effectively here and in other interviews and "video journals" God Bless you and keep you Mike!

  • @alypaige88 It's a kinda Open E Tuning. You put a half Capo on the 2nd fret on the A,D and G string. Well and the other Capo is just a normal Capo, that put's it to G then.

  • this is one of those songs that you wish lasted like 8 or 9 minutes...I feel so disappointed when it ends cause its so good and NEEDS to keep going.

  • He has 2 capos. because he can!, nah for His part in the song, his guitar uses different tuning to make the song easier to play. so instead of tuning his whole guitar up a couple steps, he uses 2 capos

  • is that a tatoo on his arm

  • @MusicanoTv ...yup:)

  • great intro to song love the songs u got great inspiration!

  • great into to ur song and cool song! keep being inspired love them!

  • Thanks! I needed the message behind the great acoustic performance.

  • @checocinero ohh i see thats great you encounter GOD's presence and love.

i hope that you become serious with HIM.. ^_^ GOD really really love''s you..

  • @checocinero To know if God is really talking to you, and its not something else, read the bible.

  • 0 dislikes...:)

    it`s great...

i love tha song ,and the band...

  • I think this sounds good with just the two of them. A lot of times with those really powerful songs (like "By Your Side"), they'll sound even better when it's just acoustic.

  • I had the C25 and opted for the Martin D42 instead. Seems easier to move around the neck for me. Each has great tonal qualities though.

  • i just found out jeff and mike can harmonize perfectly

  • I like the recording of this song better.

  • we played this at church camp last year and it just really stayed with me this entire time..this song describes me for the past year

  • I LOSVE YOU SONG ! AMAZING BAND <3 ! GOOD BLESS =)!

  • Does anyone know what type of guitar Mike is using??

  • @eghustla Looks like a Breedlove Pro C25/CRH. An American made guitar!! These are remarkable guitars!!!

  • @eghustla Breedlove Pro C25/CRH

  • @eghustla Breedlove Pro C25/CRH

  • wonderfull lol :)

  • Amazing song. Makes me cry. Check out Jeff's picking he's a MACHINE lmao looks like they speeded up his fingers

  • we sang this at camp last year and its really stuck to me..

  • Best Band and Best Song Ever!! and AMEN!

  • Love this song love them all.... and that smile Mike gave at the end was soo cute :) I love him!

  • Breedlove guitars, if I'm not mistaken.

  • anyone know what brand of guitars they're playing?

  • Sweet guys. Very Sweet.

But the Gospel is "sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb", innit?

    Grace and peace,

    Eric

  • I also like to relate this song to when I'm going through a really hard time and to remind myself that God is "by my side" no matter what:)

  • i love the part when he sngs and I I LOVE YOU! WOW! THATS MY PART! MAkes me tink about how God wants every part of me

  • He's getting a unique sound with the two capo's. He's using a full 6 string capo and a 3 string capo. It gives it a certain sound. Beautiful actually.

  • This is just another way to give your guitar an open G tune.... instead of changing the tune of your strings, he is just modifying it by using 2 capos. NO matter what you play... you'll always going to have a right note on the G scale... this is taken from the Blues. BB King style.

    Bless you.

PS: Tenth Avenue NOrth is an amazing band.

  • dude i love this band.

why does the singer have 2 capos on his guitar? i've never seen anyone do that before...

  • the one on the third fret is a capo and the one on the fifth fret is a partial capo. ppl use it to make different sounds. i use it and it is awesome.

  • @alypaige88 One of the capos is a standard capo that frets all 6 strings, the other only frets the A, D and G strings. It's called a cut away capo. It's basically a quick way to go in DADGAD tuning, sorta.

  • @alypaige88 he has one normal capo then he has a spider capo higher up, it give the guitar a really cool sound :)

    <3

  • @alypaige88 im pretty sure it has something to do with the tuning for the guitar!

  • @alypaige88 i do that with mine sometimes. it makes it alot easyer ahah

  • @alypaige88 I was wondering the exact same thing =P

  • @alypaige88 its called a cut capo. It doesnt hit all of the strings like the normal one...soo it alters the way you voicing of the chords that you play.

  • @alypaige88 The first capo is just a normal capo (to change keys). The second one is called a cut capo that mimics an alternate tuning of DADGAD. If he didn't have that cut capo on, he'd be playing chords in the "E chord family." With it, he can play some easier, open sounding chords. I have a free lesson on my website on how to use one:) I use one all the time--I love it!

  • @alypaige88 one is a full capo meaning it covers all six strings. and the other is only covering four strings

  • @alypaige88 notice the capo closer to his hand is shorter, which is kind of a new thing as far as i know. it just allows him to have different high (or different low notes if the short capo was going the other way) notes in open chords than he'd normally have.

  • @alypaige88 ones covering all the strings and one only the top strings. so he doesnt have to tune all weird lol

  • @alypaige88 It is for different tunings :D the first two strings are in G and D

  • @alypaige88 its a different type of capo. Its so that he doesnt have to press any of the top strings....i think

  • @alypaige88 He's using a partial drop D capo.

If you want to experiment with it, you can turn a normal kyser capo around and have it press only on the A,D,G strings. A really basic way to use it is to use it like a normal capo without pressing the the high B or E strings.

  • @alypaige88 one is a half capo which adds a different sound.

  • @alypaige88 one covers all of the strings while the other capo covers only 3 strings :D

  • @alypaige88 one covers all of the strings while the other capo covers only 3 strings :D

  • @alypaige88 The small capo is a "cut capo".

  • @alypaige88 The one closer to the head is a full capo (covers all strings to raise the key) and the one below that is a partial capo (looks like the bottom 4 strings). It makes a complicated key easier or gives a normal key a different sound.

  • @alypaige88 I'm assuming because he's playing in a dropped tuning...specifically drop d.

  • @alypaige88 Ones a partial capo, the others like an actual capo. to keep the top like 3 strings higher and the other 3 on whatever the other capo is at (:

  • @alypaige88 i think his first capo on the right controls the first two strings while his second one is on another fret without covering the first two strings

  • @alypaige88 One's a full capo and one's a partial.

  • @alypaige88 maybe there wasn't any other place to put it and he just didn't want to loose it :P

  • @alypaige88 its to hold the top string to a lower tone than the other ones on the bottom because hes playing rhythm guitar and yeah i havent seen that before either

  • @alypaige88 as you can see the capo in fret 5 is smaller than in fret 3.

  • @alypaige88 he has his bottem 2 or 3 strings tuned a half step down so instead of tuning them he just puts another capo a half step down

  • @alypaige88 1 is a full capo and 1 is a cut capo which allows the harmony to be easier on 1 guitar

  • @alypaige88 its to give it a cirtian sound

  • @alypaige88 I was just wondering the same thing. Perhaps he didn't want to put it on like the 8th fret, so he could do more finger picking type things? lol it's really weird.

  • @alypaige88

Its so he doesn't have to tune his guitar differently for just one song. It is kind of awkward but way easier if you have one song that requires a different tuning!

  • @alypaige88 it makes you play different chords without breaking your fingers ;)

  • @alypaige88 Because one is on half way the other all the way to change the sound.

  • @alypaige88 one of the capos is a half capo...so basically hes capoing the third fret and it looks like 3-4 of the strings on the 5th fret...ive only seen this sort of thing in praise and worship songs though...but im sure other artists do this sort of thing too

  • @alypaige88 the second capo is only on like half of the strings giving him a weird range to play that riff in the beginning

  • @alypaige88 One is a full capo and the other is a half. So the second one is just capoing off the tops strings to give a higher note.

  • @alypaige88 He wants his bottom two strings tuned down a step!

  • @alypaige88 if you look, the first capo only covers the top 4 strings at the fifth fret,, and the second one covers the bottom two strings at the 3rd fret (to play the D and G notes respectively) to emulate as if hes playing a G chord. so he can strum the chords in the song while maintaining that G...it kind of makes it sounds like he's playing two guitar parts since the guy to the left is playing the lead/arpeggiating. at least thats what i think he's doing

  • is it just me

or he looks like the guy from the o.c

    the main singer

  • I love this song <3

I heard it on K Love one day when I really needed to hear it the most.

God moves through these guys! (:

  • can someone write that the guys say before de music?i just read English, haha! thanks (:

  • he is basically saying that the song is Christ's perspective of us. And that when we fall and sin, we don't always turn to God right away. We try and fix ourselves first but then turn to Him. But in reality, we should turn to Him right away and realize that He is always by our side.

  • i was in that room...this was in Nashville at GMA week...they were fantastic..

  • Great

  • second. but i just got their autograph at thier harrison, arkansas concert so i feel first haha jk :)
