Ferrari 458 italia would smoke the lp560 and is way more advance. Let's compare, Ferrari 458 get more torque and more hp out of 4.5L vs 5.2L for gallardo also it is lighter and it have a lower mass rotation power-train % lost, witch mean it puts out more power to the wheels then the lambo, any-who even a lp570 would have a lower power to weight ratio and it would still put less HP or TQ at the wheels. @670lamborghini not quite. The V10 is an audi development--it is in the S6 and the R8 v10, and was planned from the beginning to be a crossover product. The switches are mostly from an Audi, as is the transmission. The only thing that's italian anymore is the V12 in the Murcielago. I love the gallardo, and in practice it may be the better car to own, but for better or worse, you can't deny the massive Audi influence. But the guy below? Driving new Audi produced Lambo's and new Ferrari's experience is flawed due to so many computerised means being introduced each time, the 911 is one of few supercar manufacturers to even stick with a manual gearbox! For comfortable weekend posing drives Id have the Lambo or Ferrari, but for pure hard, backside out cornering, my GT2!

If you weren't biased you would notice that they get almost identical lap times on all other tracks. The GT2 should be faster and probably is but with the "bad design engineered to perfection" Porsche it takes a lot more practice. Two completely different cars.

Personally, I don't think the Ring times are comparable for the GT2 and LP560. The driver for the LP560 was just plain terrible. If you really want to know which car is a better performing car, go to fastestlaps (dot) com and use the compare cars feature. But if you're to lazy, the result is: "Porsche 997 GT2 is noticeably faster."

The LP560 may not own the GT2, but it got the same time on the Top Gear test track as the GT2. The 560 is also easier to control and push because of the AWD, so you would get that lap time constantly. The GT2 though is much more of a pure track car. 2WD, manual 6 speed tranny, track oriented, etc. The single biggest, and I think only problem with 911s is the engine mounting. Mounting the engine behind the rear axle is a no-no. If it was mid rear, 911s would be MUCH faster, especially on tracks.

Lp560 is the fastest and also in topspeed with a 202mph, oh and for you people out there the V-10 is from LAMBORGHINI NOT AUDI, The engine was desined back when the lambo Cala was made. They bring it back with the gallardo and audi copied it in the V-8 Version to make there long awaited supercar the R8. Audi and lamborghini are joined but Lamborghini has been around since 1963 and has made some great and wild cars since then.

The GT2 is the fastest in a straight line out of the 3 cars. Its in gear acceleration outguns both the LP560-4 and the Scuderia. As can be seen from the video, it would be fair to suggest the Lambo gets a slight jump and despite this, the GT2 still manages to recover and catch it up. However, on a track, although it would be very tight, the Scuderia and LP560-4 would be neck and neck, with the GT2 coming in a very close third; mainly because it is carrying a bit extra.
