No, it's definitely not their first show .. they had gigs from 1987 onwards. This track was from their 39/Smooth album.

They were playing Gilman Street from 87-93, before they signed onto a major label at the end of 93.

They pretty much played anywhere...basements, parties, clubs...garden parties lol they had to make a living somehow.

Green Day have always been good but they were not at their best in 1989. This is a year before Tré Cool became the drummer. He replaced John Kiffmeyer in 1990. I saw them live at the Wembley Stadium, London. Oh my god, they were amazing! I love it when they come to England! Green Day rule!!!
