  • This movie is better than every star wars prequel... maybe even episode VI

  • great movie

  • Kirk:KKKKKKKKKKKHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spook:Capt'n what are you doing we all know his name, it's compleatly ilogical.

Wenn I imaginated this scene I was saying LLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL!

  • Shame we never got to see Khan encountering Klingon society. Have to wonder what he would make of it.

  • A kick ass trailer for a kick ass movie.

  • My date cried when I took her to see this! I had to explain how ST III would resurrect him. Then I cried when she dumped me two months later! She later regretted dumping me for the guy she's divorced from now! There must be a thing with their even numbered movies. I was dumped by this girl after II, my first wife and I divorced after IV, but the third time was a charm. My wife and I saw VI the year it came out, which was the year we married, and we're still happy 20 years later!

  • KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN

  • Khan had i commin to him

  • Yes! This my friends is what a movie trailer should be. From hells heart I stab at thee!

  • Question. In this they are all wearing the same red costume, how ever in the tv show Kirk wears yellow, spock wears blue and most other people wear red, is there any reason why they ditched the primary coulors?

  • @MrSherlockWatson

They changed the uniforms for this film b/c the actors hated the ones in the Motion Picture. The turtlenecks indicated the departments-gold for tactical and engineering, purple for security and communications, light blue or green for medical and science, and white for command. The red was a jacket or vest, and the standard uniform at the time.

  • Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) Star Trek: Generations (1994) Star Trek (2009)

  • Great performance by Montaban.

  • this movie kicked ass when it was first shown in the theater as I remember.

  • even after all these years, the genesis sim still looks sweet.

  • im not what you'd call a star trek fan

but dammit these movies are really good ::)

    they're classic sci-fi flicks :D

  • Star Trek: Chronicles Of Khan would be my title and it would be rated R.

  • Along with Star Trek VI, I don't think they will ever achieve the same depth of plot as they did here. Such a shame; they've almost killed the franchise. Are there no decent writers left to even challenge this story?

  • I would do a prequel of Khan and make it into a grizzly and gruesome R rated movie.

  • To date this is still my favorite Star Trek movie...Khan is just the best.. I remember seeing this and the original motion picture at the movies when I was a little blighter.. ahhhh the memories

  • To date this is still my favorite Star Trek movie...Khan is just the best..

  • Probably 2nd best in the series (after Star Trek VI).

  • by far, the best Star Trek movie. I was dissapointed by the search for spock because it wasn't quite as good although I did enjoy Doc Brown as a kling-on. Can't believe I went almost twenty years of my life without knowing Doc Brown was a kling-on in a Star Trek movie.

  • Brilliant trailer for a fantastic film.

  • It's all about the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 and the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 going at it! "Enterprise & Reliant 4-Ever!"

  • This is the best Star Trek ever, I adore this film!!

"I've done far worse than kill you. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me. Marooned for eternity. Burried aliiive. Burried aliiive."

Oh my god, it's so creepy how he says that. Montalban had the best voice ever. RIP.

  • Still the best Star Trek Movie and best sci fi movie ever made

  • KAAAAAAAAHN!!!!!! (2011) We hope. lol

  • Although the new Star Trek is totally hot and JJ Abrams did an awesome job, there is just no topping this.

I was 16 when this came out and the buzz around it's release was like no other Trek movie released to date, especially among the Trek Nation.

  • I am afraid to see the new "trek", only b/c of this movie....and the sequels that followed.

  • completely agree Monsta64. I love the new film but there is no topping this. Its CLASSIC Trek at its best and a direct link with the old show.

  • KHAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • i just saw this trailer for the first time ooooh it gave me chills

  • *Buried Alive. Buried Alive*

  • KHAN!!!!

  • KHAN!!!!

  • and what magnificent wrath it was!

  • This is the BEST of the Trek movies! Kept me on the edge of my seat when the 'battle'began!

  • KHAN!!!! KHAN!!!!

  • leanard maltin give this three out of four stars. Fuck him FOUR OUT OF FOUR BABY!!!!!!

  • the narrator sounds like Ricardo.

  • The voice is a little deeper in my opinion.

  • awesome trailer

  • Not a Star Trek fan but did enjoy this movie. RIP Ricardo Montalban.

  • R.I.P. Ricardo Montalban

  • Personally I believe Jerry Goldsmith composed the best theme for Star Trek and James Horner and all the other composers (except for Alexander Courage who composed the original Star Trek theme so my respects to him) can go jump in the lake cuz their themes will never hold a candle to his IMO. But I will agree with everyone that this movie was better than the first one.

  • Score wise, Goldsmith makes a great sweeping epic-ish score. That was one of the good parts of the first one. But Horner, to his credit, can do the creepy theme, as seen with Khan's theme, plus he can do very energetic and fast pace scores to go with an action scene, as seen in the surprise attack of Khan and in the Aliens movie. Goldsmith's score though in the first movie was excellent. Haunting, sinister, energetic, mysterious, and beautiful.

  • thats it , im sold , ill be there june 4th 2009..lololol

  • I dunno man, the CGI looks pretty iffy...and no one is seriously going to like that KHAN!!!! part...

  • it was in the 70's

  • it's a joke, lol

  • oh ok, i feel kinda dumb now though

  • it was in the 80's.

  • it was?. as kirk would say....Damn

  • yea, it was 82.

  • Who did the voice-over for this trailer?

  • I know... it sounds like someone from the lollipop guild.

  • The best!!

  • My god that was a great trailer.

  • Ricardo Montalban's actin gwas outstanding better than Shatner and Nimoy in this movie, no question about it! Khan was by far the best played villain in cinematic history!!

  • @baz2186 Ohhhh give it rest why don;t you?? TRY having an original comment.......you are such a loser and follow of what people say and do....I bet yer fav SW movie is Empire strikes back too??? I bet you say words like "EPIC" and "PAWD" like a fucking internet TOOOOOOOL Get it together be yourself

  • @tarasvoice Get bent keep your opinions to yourself, what have I done to you to illicit a response like that! Typical You Tube coward, you would not say that to my face but you have the balls to say it to me on a laptop hiding in your room! Go on try and shut me up!!

  • @baz2186 I'll to your face bitch, while you eat my shit log! I AM against humans who act like robots.

  • Shut up!

  • @tarasvoice What is your problem?

  • @rprince418 Sorry......I lost control. *Hugs*

  • wonder what actor could play Khan Noonien Singh now; those, are some pretty big shoes to fill. Although, Trek fans are not as nitpicky and downright annoying as Star Wars fans; "the lightsabers don't sound right! I'm not playing that video game! wah, wah, wah!!!" Still though, few actors today have Montalban's charisma, intensity and for that matter skill. They are remaking the original series; the choice for the new Khan, will not be easy.

  • Uhhnnng!! I can't wait to see this.

  • I can't either; my folks got me a new atari and synthesizer for christmas!

  • Oh yeah? Those are two of my favourite things. We should hang out.

  • i coludn,t see most of the startrek movies trailers becuse i was born after but i had the trailers of startrek the undiscover country, generations and first contact

  • june 4th

i need to go see this 1 at the movies!

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

  • Definitely the best original series movie.. This trailer doesn't give the movie what it deserves.

  • This was the best Trek movie.

  • FUCK

I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THIS GODDAMN MOVIE.

    shit man I want to...bad.

but alas, I have no money to rent or buy it.

  • download it so ya cheapskate

  • I found the 2 disc DVD for $7.99. I thought I would have to pay over $15.00,but it is a very reasonable price and well worth it. The best Star Trek movie there is

  • From hell's heart I stab at thee, for hates sake I spit my last breath at thee.

  • Yeah, without the original actor it would've been less enjoyable.

  • It's too bad Montablan didn't get an Oscar for his performance as Khan, it was that good.

  • I love this film but this trailer is pretty awful.

  • I had a copy of this film on tape as a kid that I probably watched 4000 times.

    KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN!

  • Is it true that this is the best Star Trek movie ever?

  • Yes.

  • You bet it is.

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

    heh ownin harry potter nerds

  • that has to be the best trailer for a movie ever

  • excellent star trek film

  • This trailer was included with the out-of-print VHS version of the TOS episode Space Seed, released in the early 1980s before TOS episodes were distributed en masse.

  • Yeah, I remember renting that tape as a child! It had the episode "The Changeling" on the tape as well. The tape came out around the time that Wrath of Khan was out in cinemas, and was probably put out to cash in on the movie's success.

  • i love the Genesis sequence ;D

    Star Trek FTW!

  • 'i need warp speed in 3 minutes or we're all dead'

    classic trek rocks!! cheers

  • Best line in the movie!

  • Yeah, the phaser blast is actually a Star Wars blaster sound.

  • The phaser attack is the wrong sound dub from what I actually saw in the movie.

  • Kaaaahhhhhnnnnn!!!

  • One of the best sci-fi movies ever...one of the best Star trek movies..Lead us to the stars,Capt Kirk!

  • Kirk should have killed Khan when he had the chance! Now Khan has the high ground!

  • Thoughts:

#1: Determined to destroy, not destined to destroy!

#2: Only in the golden age of the American cigarette could you find voicover guys like that.

  • lol yeah with the really gravely voice...

  • Actually it sounds like a young Don LaFontaine?

  • No, definitely not LaFontaine.

  • KHAAAAAAAAAN! Great vid!

  • How to beat Khan: The Cheat Code Supreme!

Whenever encounter someone with 2 dimensional thinking; just do this:

    Z-minus 10,000 meters

You'll know be able to avoid them everytime, LOL!!

  • Brilliant!

  • The best Trek movie ever made, and one of the best scores by James Horner ever composed. Enough said.

  • GOod stuff, good stuff. Khaaann!!!

  • Bloody Hell, it made the crappy special effects look cool!

  • "There she is!"

    Awesome!

  • Best Star Trek? Dood, this might be the greatest movie of all-time. "Revenge is a dish best served cold."

  • Awesome! This is the best Star Trek movie of all time.

  • very cool!
