I haven't decided to train him in agility or frisbee. My Sheltie that died back in the beginning of August was the smartest dog in the neighborhood. In 2011, my dog and I will reclaim that title. :)

Hey Zak, got a question for you! My Border Collie (5 months old) freaks out when I come home, even when I don't show any excitement, or I try to ignore her until she calms down. Also, when I leave the house, she freaks out and starts howling, barking, crying and gets very upset for at least 30 minutes or more until she finally calms down. She's so loud you can hear her from the street!
Have you ever had this problem and if so, how would you suggest trying to stop this?

I absolutely love your training methods! We adopted a 10 month old golden/lab mix found on petfinder. She is a great dog with the sweetest personality but has had some security problems when on leash and she sees other dogs. By building a strong connection with her she is now able to trust me a lot more and I thank you for all your help through youtube.
Heather, Jesse, Ashley and Kaine really are an inspiration. I can just imagine the amount of patience, hours of dedication, and bond that they must share with their dogs to get them to do the amazing things that they do. Being a professional dog trainer my self, I really look up to Heather and Ashley and have become a much better dog trainer because of it. I have even gotten other people on the band wagon. Yeah, I can only agree! Heather and Ashley are a really good inspiration for dogowners to bond with their dogs in working together with and not against them.
Lately seen this video of e-collar-training where the dog gets hurt when pulling on the leash instead of reward him for not pulling. Why bonding with your dog when you can force him in the shape you like. Really sad. I can only hope that more people watch the cool R+Vids instead of this crap.
I have been subscribing to Jesse for quite some time and I suggest your channel and your philosophy with all of the people who adopt the dogs that I foster..... I am with a golden retriever rescue though it would be hard to turn down any dog! I love them all.... I just love the organization that I am helping! They somehow find enough funding to even help dogs that are on their last leg... literally! There is a dog being rehabilitated now that is just starting to use his back legs after a tragedy

All very talented dogs! I %100 agree with putting relationship first when it comes to training, no dog will want to work with you if you don't share a bond.
Personally I think there are a LOT better and friendlier Positive Reinforcement trainers out there. The tricks are 'cute' but a lot of other dogs on you tube can do tricks.

Ashley and Kaine aren't 100% friendly. They block/delete people for NO reason whatsoever! It's ridiculous. I mean, I support their training but they aren't the friendliest people out there.

I also agree with what you said. So many people get wrapped up in the "training" of their dogs, that they fail to recognize the relationship that should come first.
I have been watching Jesse for many years, we found them through Dogster. It's really good to see someone show that it's not just border collies who can do tricks, many people think jack russels are horror dogs because they are terriers, it's simply because many do not work with their dogs. I think it's a wonder sight to see, thumbs up for both you, Heather and her sister.

Hey Zak! I got a Border Collie(25%), Leonberger (25%) and a Norwegian Buhund mix. I really want a frisbee :D! It's hard to find a good frisbee that doesn't break at the first attempt throwing it <.<
I would either use it for my dogs, or just have it in my home for inspiration!! Your choice (=

Hello Zac im from australia!! i have a dog Called Runna! i love her so much !! she is 1 year old now and i have taught her tricks using ur mothoud! i am going to be making a video to dedecate ur work !! ill show u what my puppy can do !! im 14 years old and i have anxierty .. stops me from going to school i do home school and Runna is really emportant to me !!! id love u to meet her !! :D

Personally I think there are a LOT better and friendlier Positive Reinforcement trainers out there. The tricks are 'cute' but a lot of other dogs on you tube can do tricks.
No I am not subscribed to their channels, I unsubbed due to how nasty they are to people

I must AGREE 100% With AllForTheGSD, there are WAY better dog trainers then "These Two people" .
I am Also Not Subbed to them due to Deletingness along with being called a Back Yard breeder By One of the sisters..

Thank you for the plethora of ideas and techniques that I will be implementing in training my future-pup. Relationship-based training is the way to go.

Hey Zak I just have a question, I have a really good relationship with my pup Tika but she's afraid of a lot of objects, like balls for example, what should I do for her to be more confortable with them ? :s
I tried to get them near her and say it's ok it's just a toy but she just runs off :/
Do you have any suggestions please ?

I've been watching Ashley & Kaine for a few months now I found her videos when I got my rescue puppy this summer. They're such an inspiration I just wish she posted more videos of her pretty GSD! :)

Ashley & Kaine are truely inspirational and amazing - and, of course, so are Heather & Jesse. Both trainers are admirable in the way that they train their dogs; because of the teamwork, trust, and unbreakable bonds that they share with their humans, Jesse & Kaine enjoy their lives to the fullest and are out to reach their full potential. Heather, Ashley, Jesse, & Kaine greatly deserve all the attention they are getting in the world. Way to go!!! :D

Ashley and Kaine aren't 100% friendly. They block/delete people for NO reason whatsoever! It's ridiculous. I mean, I support their training but they aren't the friendliest people out there.

I also agree with what you said. So many people get wrapped up in the "training" of their dogs, that they fail to recognize the relationship that should come first.

I have been watching Jesse for many years, we found them through Dogster. It's really good to see someone show that it's not just border collies who can do tricks, many people think jack russels are horror dogs because they are terriers, it's simply because many do not work with their dogs. I think it's a wonder sight to see, thumbs up for both you, Heather and her sister.
