Another spectacular performance from Clay!! This song still brings tears to my eyes and I listen to it over and over, such a heartfelt song..It is such a pleasure to get to listen to Clay sing..And to see his eyes light up when he talks about Parker...God bless you Clay and Parker!!

That was AWESOME, you could feel that in your heart this was special for him, I can only emagine what he went through when he came out and then had Parker with a good friend of his....I couldn't hold back the tears and this was 3 years ago....He is an AWESOME person inside and out.....Has a great voice, and you can just feel the love in him for others...LOVE YOU, CLAY AIKEN Keep going we love you..

If you're wondering why people were crying in the audience, it's because this event was just a month after Clay had publicly come out & just a couple of wks after he had opened his fan club up to uncensored comments about his coming out. Some very pathetic long-time "fans" used that opportunity to defile, degrade & disrespect him, his child & his child's mother in the most un-Christian manner imaginable (they claimed to be Christian). Clay lovingly said they just needed time & he's patient.

it just took me out of the moment. I thought maybe something happened off stage or something the laughter just seemed out of place is all. It wasn't meant as insult. You can tell it is a touching moment for him.

It really was such a touching moment. I believe people who were there said the reason there was a little laugther at the end was because he was singing so softly and everyone realized there was crying and sniffling in the room and they all just kinda laughed when they realized they were all crying....it was STILL a VERY touching emotional moment for everyone...including Clay!

Clay appeared on Oprah with Ruben & Justin in 2003. He also had an appearance with the Oprah dream bus (don't when that was). Also I remember a Unicef clip on there.
