i am working on an English subtitled version; i think if more folks knew what the lyrics meant here in the states the piece might get considerable popularity.

@donques I sincerely doubt that. I used google translate, and to be honest, it doesn't make much sense to me. I mean about being anti-american. I would have a better understanding from the video alone though. I'm under the impression that it's about Bush and America being the sheriff from what appears to be oil, and the (fitting)stereotype of America being a sheriff to save the day.

@Mduenisch My first language is german (I'm from Austria) and he doesn't really say anything about America but you could say they mean the way how america acts. Like you said:"America being the sheriff to save the day"

Wenn ich mir das Video so betrachte - es ist mir früher nie so aufgefallen - aber Robert und Gabi haben wunderbare markante Gesichtszüge!
Gerade in diesem Video mit der etwas düsteren Ambiente kommen ihre markanten Gesichter super zum Vorschein.
Zum Vergleich diese milchgesichtigen Knilche von heute, z.B. J. Bieber oder R. Pattinson - OMG!

I love this clip. There website used to host this for a free download, but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. But it's a great CD as a whole :-)
