It is easy to get 4 celestriads, it just takes a really long time.

You can equip a thief knife of locke or shadow, or someone else and bet MURAKUMO at the Colesium, then hope they steal a celestriad, then hope they win the fight.

Alternatively, go to Phoenix Cave and steal from Galypedes (formerly named Aquilla".

And no, this guy did not cheat. You could beat this boss with 2 level 6 characters.

I've beaten Kaiser DRagon with level 6 celes plus Gau in a CES only game...no cheat here.

How did you get 4 Celestriads? I'm asking because I only got 2 from Brachiosaurs and one from Dragon's Den (been fighting like 6 hours in the dinosaur forest to level up). Can you get Celestriads at the Colloseum?

Actually, there's a relic (originally called Economizer that I think was retranslated as the Celestriad in Advance) that cuts all MP consumption to 1.

The Gigantuar is easy to defeat. Even low level.

You only have to use spells like "ultima" and you have to use the dragon boots' "jump" command right before he is beaten.

Damn... now THIS is a feat. I can see, with effort, beating Kefka and the gang at level 6. This new giant cactus boss was a pain in the butt even at mid/high levels. Well done on using your magic as efficiently as possible!

so he ran from every random fight possible, limiting the veldt to about ~10 monsters, 1 being brachosaurs, and he kills them all in the veldt non stop until he gets 4 economizers?

He ran away from every battle and avoided every possible mandatory fights like the rats in the opera and the soldiers at the battle of Narshe against Kefka and the soldiers with locke. He steals a Tempest from #128 and owns him with Tempest and Gau's Aspik rage (Giga Volt which is only 10 magic power less than Bolt 3.) At level 7, a 110 power attack is Godsend. Also, you do not gain exp. on the Veldt, when fighting Intangirs and Cactrots. Happy Holidays.

you missed what i said - so he runs from every random fight, mandatory up until the point of brachosaurs is about how many monsters? 10+-? so 1/10 chance to encounter a brachosaur in the veldt, then what are the chances of drops in ff6? i don't know the rates offhand 1/256? 1/144? 1/56? 1/32? 1/16? - with 10 different enemy formations in the veldt, that's 1/10 chance to encounter brachs, while in the forest it would be 1/3 (1 tyranosaur, 2 tyranosaurs, and 1 brach)

so i'm curious how you progressed through the entire game and got the best equipment yet have a team at level 6-12 (when fighting mandatory bosses with mandatory character setups would put you higher than that) - how did you learn every spell yet never level? things should be explained :\

For the spells I think he went to the tower of fanatics or whatever it's called. You fight with only magic and only get ability points, 5 being the minimum.
