  • It's a shame there isn't more music like this. Rufus Harley showed the world how great the bagpipes can sound in jazz

  • Rufus was one of a kind. So unique that he was considered more or less a fringe artist--even a lot of so-called jazz aficianados are unaware that the man existed, but mention Kenny G. (who's about as jazz as a water cooler) and they just about pee their sneakers in admiration of a hack musician (and I'm not saying they don't have the right to enjoy the likes of Mr. G), but you wish they could expand their awareness beyond the obvious and predictable.
