yea ive been slidin for 5 years now, if you want a better brand then get some protecs, thats basically the next step up from those ones, i use scabs kneepads, the best kind youll ever have, ill be workin at knotts halloween haunt soon, so you can trust me on this one

no airbrush was used, i just used some sponge thingy that my wife had. but you should use grease makeup, then powder it so it wont run.
