This is my favorite song on John's new cd. Mellencamp's lyrics have always challenged me to think, plus I like his social and political viewpoints. So, the new cd questions aging and dying. I remember when he was fighting authority....John said, "And dying to me don't sound like all that much fun." This cd may be a darker and more mature side of John, but John continues to fight authority with the new Jena song. Jena reminds us of the racial tensions and the healing that lies ahead. Rock on.
