  • I had no idea Maj. Winters died. What a true American hero.

  • I was not AIRBORNE-but I learned a lot about their history and culture while stationed at Ft. Campbell in support of the 101st when they were truly AIRBORNE!

  • 4 neo nazi's rated this video

  • @terminator6267

So what? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? How many terminator queers rated it? One as far as I can tell but like I said who gives a shit? Some turd that has nothing better to do with his life than run around counting who rates what like some bean counting neo marxist retard.

  • @kampfgruppe88 And how many of you nazi's are you still alive?

  • @terminator6267

Why don't you tell me? You seem to be the one doing the bean counting. You should join the Anti Defamation League so you can get paid for your efforts. Like you they have a problem with people who oppose Zionist crap and would love to destroy people's freedom here in the US. Sounds like you have a lot in common with them. One thing is for sure both of you are assholes.

  • @kampfgruppe88 lol you assume too much...I was only commenting about 4 nazi's rating this video and you come up with this Anti Defamation Bullshit that you just recently came up with from some bullcrap...probably wiki...well im done bickering...and if you comment again...then it's obvious your looking for problems...

  • @terminator6267 Well. In all honesty (and, I'm not a nazi here) you're kind of lame for doing the whole "bla bla bla disliked this vid" crap.

  • @FredrikEastling you gonna start sumthin' cause I ain't good sir and no I did not "dislike" this video so please contain your critics.

  • @terminator6267 I'm not going to start something, no. Just giving you a tip and that's it.

  • @FredrikEastling oh alright sir, thank you

  • This reminds me of my dad he served with the 82d Airborne Division during the Vietnam Era... He passed away from Cancer due to Agent Orange 6 years ago! I wished I knew about this song... I would had this song played at his funeral...

  • RIP Canadian Cousin Pve Tyler Todd

  • I found out that on one Christmas, Germans threw down their weapons and joined arms with American soldiers to sing christmas songs.

    That is simply beautiful.

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 and then the next day then carried on shooting each other to pieces.

    simply beautiful

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 That was an incident between the Germans and British on the first Christmas ( 1914 ) in WWI. They had some trouble with fraternization following that and both sides had to threaten to shoot their own if it continued. I doubt any Germans and Americans joined in for Christmas in WWII, especially during the Battle of the Bulge.

  • Hooah! Let the fallen be remembered!

    RIP Mitchell Cranttz

    We will never forget you!

  • That "Support Our Troops" quote, although it is a statement I concur with, is extreamly irriating squishing in and out like that.

  • RIP Major Winters! A True American Hero! As is Wild Bill and all those who served!

  • R.I.P major-winters. and too all of our fallen!. and gods speed to our heros still in service!

  • RIP Maj. Richard Winters

  • @personcalledray RIP Maj. Richard Winters. He truly was an American hero.

  • hooah i salute the fallen

  • Only the United States could come up with such a cynical and amazing song such as this. This is indeed a true work of art. USA 4 EVER!

  • ounce again the only airborne unit left the 82nd was left out and the the dopes on ropes the 101 was the only boys shown what a same o well atleast we the all americans will remember what we did

  • @50TNCSA If you mean 82nd is the only one left today that's not entirely true. 173rd Airborne Brigade is based out of Italy. They jumped into Iraq in 2003...but thats only Brigade size, 82nd is the only Division Sized Airborne Force in the U.S.

  • GOD BLESS THE 101st AIRBORNE.

  • @TheRapper10000 GOD BLESS EVERY AMERCAN AIRBORNE

  • I love this song. It is sad to know what our troops have to go through to keep us free. God Bless the troops and their families.

  • look at my comment 7 months ago in page 7 or eight haha i said it wrong

  • love this song haha good airbone

  • why at 2:35 has the guy a 4th infantry "Ivy" armpatch on his right sleeve, and a 1st armored division "Old Ironsides (or 2nd "hell on wheels, or 3rd "spreadhead) one on his left sleeve?

  • @kskdtr one patch is his home unit ... the other one is the unit he is attached to during his deployment

  • Actually a sgergeants say "Trust me sir." Any officer that dumb is great for us. We know we can sucker them every day.

  • Actually a sgergeants say "Trust me sir." Any officer that dumb is great for us. We know we can sucker them ever day.

  • GOD BLESS THE AIRBORNE TROOPS.

  • 1:20 is a great painting i love the armed forces. but personally i like the marines most joining in 2 years when i finish high school i cant wait

  • Jump out and count to 4!

  • I started singing this while shopping, gets you some odd looks...

  • @digweed69You think your people are stealthy i dont think blowin your self up in a crowd of people is very stealthy and if they night attackin us im sure we would now.And you think we force freedom on people, your wrong retard.Your one of them people that are not grateful to be free.IDK bout them terrorists they cant do much when their hiding in caves. Our milatary can kick them terrorists asses any day of the week the only thing that is hard bout it is that there hidin in caves.SO GO SUCK BALLS!

  • @Ajwazny1 Same here. I actually plan to get an associates degree first though that way I can enlist as an E4. I'll do reserve stuff during college. Then I'll go active duty, get into Ranger school, pass ranger school, and the rest will be history.

  • the half movie with SUPORT OUR TROOPS well please shut up with it

  • America is about to face the wrath of the world. We had enough of you "helping" the world and force freedom on the people. Expect stealthy attacks by night you slugs. And superbakteria released in your air, and your water supplies. We have infiltrated your communites for years. 2012 End of days? In one way, Yes.

  • @digweed69 go back to smoking your pot and sucking osamas dick

  • @digweed69 LOL @ the anti-american shit bag. You want attention? How about you go hide in a cave and suck Bin Laden's dick. I'm sure to everybody else here, you're just a bug crushed under their boots.

  • @ForceRecon198 Im not even gonna dignifi that stupid comment with an answer. Move out of your mom´s basement allready.

  • @digweed69 Well good shit because I don't need an argument, I'm telling you how it is. And just because somebody strongly disagrees with you doesn't make them a loser with no life. That just proves that you have some self esteem issues so you create a reality to where you believe that you are king and everybody else is under your dominion due to imaginary shortcomings. Yeah, I'm into psychology.

  • @ForceRecon198 Youre not inte psychology, you are a psycho. Now go back to sukking your fingers and taking your medicine.

  • @digweed69 Oh pardon me for being psychotic, I didn't know I was the one who was claiming that 2012 was legit, that your "people" are sneaking their way into America, and that we're going to overthrown by some hadjjis who not only f***ed up their country but now want to f*** up our country for helping the innocent. Yeah, I'm a psychopath (sarcasm in case you're too slow to catch that)

  • @ForceRecon198 "Brushing of Lame as comment" Stop explaining yourself all the time. You are the only one reading your lame ass comments anyways. (Truth if you are to slow to get that)

  • @digweed69 lulz you really need a life bud.

  • @digweed69 there is only one country that could defeat the united states. that would be china simply by their numbers. heres the catch chinas economy is based off the states' and we are their number 1 customer. if china were to attack and defeat us, their economy would crash. currently the only way the U.S could be beaten is with atomic weapons, and an atomic war would end all of the world not just the states, and "forcing freedom on people" thats just the worst isnt it. i wish i was a slave.

  • Ok guys, how many of you are old enough to "nut up or shut up"? Just trip on down and sign up? Been there done that and got the tee shirt.

  • i likey funny song

  • the games may make it seem fun, but i could never join the airborne R.I.P. to all that fell in combat

  • 101st AB > Any other fighting unit in the world.

  • he just was a rookie....yes he was.....

  • I support the troops coming home R.I .P Kris lee sterner 1989-2009 you were the best brother I could ever ask for .

  • hey where can i find this version? i cant find it anywhere :/

  • semper-fi and Hoo-ah are both MARINES

  • I really love this song. It makes me chill and what's more it's great to sing while walking etc. In the other hand the story is very sad. Cheers from Poland.

  • how the hell is this fun 2 sing? that's just disturbing. r u fucked up?!

  • Glory Glory what a hell of a way to die,Glory Glory what a hell of a way to die,Glory Glory what a hell of a way to die,he ain't going to jump no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Awsome video!

  • It's gory, not glory

  • @primoz85 oh

  • gory!

  • @ares04064 ok

  • @IsaiasSoldier2 not to be rude but it's gory gory not glory glory. If you ever say that it's glory glory to an airborne soldier (particularly a vet) you'll end up with a broken jaw.

  • i like this vid but ya know

even though they aren't best they need to be recognized...like all military branchs

  • Cool

  • I might not be in the army nor have been in the army but a lot of people in my family were. Some paratroopers.from what I've heard it was a very very hard thing to do. Simper Fi! HOOAH

  • Semper Fi is Marine Corps. Hoo-ah is Army. Please tell me you mean't that as a compliment to both forces.

  • What does the airborne say?

Most airborne divisions are also part of the Army.

  • @felnaris i don't know actually xD

  • @Sieg350 the marine corps also uses "OO-RAH"

  • @TheJoshy123456789 I know, but I was commenting on the fellow's comment. Leon1000ify said Semper Fi and Hoo-ah at the end of his comment. >_> I do want to know what the Airborne says though.

  • @TheJoshy123456789 The Airborne is just part of the Army so they say Hooah too.

  • @Sieg350 I would say in simpler terms that Oorah- USMC Hooah-ARMY. Semper Fi doesn't really coorelate to Hooah in that way. Just saying. : )

  • @ForceRecon198 Good point. :)

  • @Sieg350 Semper Fi is the term meaning "Alway Faithful"

  • @mario5157 Semper Fidelis means "Always Faithful." Semper Fi means "Always." =)

  • @Sieg350 Its Just Hooah. Not Hoo-ah

  • @Infantry506th Ah well, it's said the same way right? I was partially correct in spelling xD, thanks for the correction though.

  • @Sieg350 your Welcome, And Your Right

  • GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES HOOAH

  • Stand up, hook up, shuffle 2 ta door and pray the chute works, also b4 u touch the ground-remember to land like a sack of potatoes.

  • Being a paratrooper is an honor few know. Many paratroopers die or suffer horrible injuries just training. This song spells out what can happen on a jump. If you know the consequences, you know fear and then you are careful. A paratrooper who says he or she isn't scared is either a liar or a fool! It's also the greatest rush you could ever experience! The song is kind of catchy, though, isn't it?

  • Quote: And when he gets to heaven,

To St. Peter he will tell,

    Another soldier reporting sir,

I've served my time in Hell.

  • Jesus fuck! Isn't this a cruel song!

Or am I not understanding it right?

  • amazing though

  • @pastirc

No, course when you are a airborn trooper, your proud of everything about it, even the risk of dieing. Many Airborn troopers want to die in the action of jumping, and this song just honor the troops that jump and everything about their job, even death!

  • You won't understand it untill you are a Air Borne Ranger hooo waaaa

  • Air Borne DEATH FROM ABOVE. I am proud of this song . It sounds cruel to those who have not served in the AIR BORNE

  • I agree with you, this songs gives me the chills, i love it. Strike Hold

  • I dont just support our troops, i AM one of our troops. Sergeant in the US Army. And i agree, our ACU's are kind of retarded. A General's wife came up with the idea.

  • a sergeant!? sir! i am a future member of our proud military!

  • You don't call a sergeant "Sir", you call him sergeant. "Sir" is a title for Officers. Just thought I'd let you know haha.

  • yeah you call a Sergeant "Sr" he will very quickly let you know he is not a Sr and that he works for a living

  • Yup, it happens all the time with the rookies. I always correct them before the Sergeants have to. They appreciate it haha

  • @BXC747 you call any superior officer "sir"

  • @superclayton1000 Which is exactly what I said.

  • @BXC747 you got it...as pretty much any Sgt or better level NCO would say...Sergeants work for a living ;-)

  • @balloonhedz HOOAH from a ssgt

  • @BXC747 I found that out at civil air patrol.... I suggest not messing that up...

  • @DynaDuctINC What Unit? I'm SWR-TX-388 :-)

  • @BXC747 As I "Sired" a sergeant he said: Do no Sir me, I'm doing this for living!

  • @Asmodai281 Haha almost all Army Sergeants say im not a fucking Officer i work for a fucking leaving

  • @BXC747 You are a jerk? This is one of the best patriotic songs of all time. He did not write this.

  • @piccianoa11 I think you linked this to the wrong comment, this pertains to no comment I've made on this video...

  • Its very sad to see how many comments here are really not nice for and about the troops. So many soldiers have lost their lives or was wound and its still so. We never should forget this all and should thinking to them all in honor. God bless you all.

  • I'll support them (American troops) but I would appreciate it if the US army would change their ACU's (they stick out like a sore thumb in the desert) and wear something like the marines wear or the brits or Canadians wear. All around camouflage dosent work very well in the desert. And whats this at 2:42? That uniform you see them wear is either British or common wealth (just pointing it out) and if you intentionally put that in there the British paras wear maroon berets not service caps

  • oops, likely british airborne, not intentional

  • @pvtgunny they're still airborne, we should not only support out troops but also those that fight/fought WITH our troops

  • @pvtgunny they were called parachute infantry actualy the british i mean or paratroopers we werent called airborne

  • @renactfilms the army is switching to multicam

  • @renactfilms I agree completly...the marines had the bes choice...AF ABU`s Stick out so do the ACU`s, Im still a fan of the BDU woodland and desert.

  • @renactfilms The brits adopted som sort of universal camo now. I thinks it's all fucked up we should all have a designated woodland camo, desert camo, winter camo. There is really no universal camo that works in al conditions.

  • @renactfilms I do agree with you, and btw that in 2:42 cannot be United Sates of America (which is the correct name, as you don't bloody own the whole of America yest!) as they seem to actually have shiny shoes and a good mannered tea attitude! That was all, now go back to screwing the world USA, and don't forget my pizza!

  • @renactfilms They're replacing those with Multicams.

  • @renactfilms they are planning to switch to multicam right now rangers and special forces primarily use them multicam itself is pretty ugly looking but will most likely work betterin hiding them but the digital works better in urban enviroments

  • @renactfilms We switched recently to multi-cam.

  • IF them Krauts want sum mo we got alot mo for them,GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and EVERY PATRIOT ON THIS COUNTRY

  • at least them Krauts had more honour then the dessert RATS, self detonating themselves in the middle of the market packed with civilians

  • @Xaphri dude our army is the most best trained forces in the world (bits) for your imformation our royal marine commandos train your navy seals sometimes but during the war our desert rats are counted as sas sas are nutter i do agree lolz but i do admit that with out the americans we would of lost the war so god bless england and god bless america

  • I aint american, so they aren't my navy seals... and by the rats I mean the terrorists self detonating to inflict damage on the civilians; not the soldiers trying to prevent them from doing it. I was not refering to the WW2 battles in the desert, but the battles now, in Iraq

  • @princeofcongo SAS is nothing compared to the Spetznaz. And no im not russian, im american.

  • @hungrey5392 Those Russians are some tough bastards

  • @hungrey5392 sas and spetnaz r the worlds hardest armys

  • cab anyone tell me where can i find those lyrics????????

  • i am going to write them down and i'll send them to u

  • you my friend are an uneducated man. I pity your life. Enjoy sucking

  • Yeah... these days are long gone. Hooray for our corporate controlled offshore bank owned military. It's time we took it back. Get out of Iraq, get out of Afghanistan, shut down all foreign military bases. All 160+ of them. Shrink the military budget from more than the entire world combined to... how about equal to number #2 on that list. That ought to help.

  • Thank you for this video and hymn. We never should forget all this brave men and woman who lost their lives in war. God bless them all, the veterans and the still active soldiers. D-Day memorial next year in the Normandy will be come again, a good place to remember.

  • fschornagel - Don't go on high and mighty because your smug intellectualism finally pissed somebody off.

First off, the only reason you can afford your smugness is because people far greater than yourself, including those from your own country, which appears to be Canada, suffered and continue to suffer greatly.

Second, WWI was NOT won by the time we Yanks came in. Nor was WWII. Perhaps you have some distorted recollection of Vimy Ridge or Dieppe.

    Also, its "border" not "boarder".

  • I, so just so you know, being smug. If people can't discuss things without throwing insults how the hell do you expect to avoid escalation and open conflict. Insults are typically the first sign that open conflict is someones preferred method of dealing with differing opinions.

As for someone being pissed off by my voicing differing opinions that is of course their choice. It has not, nor will it ever, change how I voice my opinions.

  • Like wise I have never, nor will I ever, been smug about my opinions. Nor do I believe everything that I read or see. I also do not presume to form opinions as to another persons worth based people from the past. The value of every person is based on the actions of that person and nothing else. I openly acknowledge that I have not fought in a war, nor am I likely to do so. This is not due to lack of willingness on my part, but rather my age.

  • Nor would I argue that many people from all over the world fought and suffered in the past, are doing so now and will do so in the future. This does not make them greater or lesser men and women, It simply means that they were/are doing their job, for which I am thankful.

I also never said that the USA did not contribute to victory, just that it can not and should not be given credit for it while ignoring the contributions of other nation which fought for much longer.

  • In WW I, the war was won by the time your troops arrived. The arrival of those troops in the last months of the war simply meant that it ended sooner and cost fewer lives. No nation the size of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (even with it's 3 allies) with it's limited resources could hope to win against the combined forces of France, Belgium, Italy, the British Empire (and 23 other allied nation) They had lost. A 28th nation joining the effort did not win the war come to the rescue and win the war.

  • Actually, in 1918, the UK lost more men than in the entire second world war, and more than in 1916. The Germans were disappointed in the peace as many of them believed the war to be going well at that point.

  • I do not have a distorted view of Vimy Ridge or of Dieppe. Vimy Ridge was a bloody event, as were the battles of Marne, Ypres, Flanders, Gallipoli, The Somme and an incredible number of battles between Russia and the Central powers. The fact that any battle is horrific does not lessen the contribution of the nations involved. If it did, Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Wake Island to name a few would be viewed quite differently than they are.

  • lyrics??

  • 0:44

    Bastogne, Belgium

The Battle of the Bulge / The Battle of the Ardennes

I've been to been to Bastogne, there is a museum there, and in the center of the town at a (i believe) 6 way roundabout is a Sherman Tank (they sometimes take it down for maintainence and restoration) as well as a Jeep. It's Pretty Neat

  • sad song

  • hell of a good song. i love it

  • damn without america it could be over of europe two times WW1 and WW 2

  • It could have been all too different if not for the Lend-Lease Act as well as young American Volunteer soldiers. Without American D-Day troops Britian would have had a hell of a time even getting a foothold of Normandy without the massive amounts of Airborne and landing troops. Had Hitler been content with a limited front with the Crown and left Russia alone, it would have been no doubt that they would have pushed allied forces and landed in London.

Everyone had their part, thank God for it.

  • the end was in sight for england, hitler was preparing to buttrape the rest of the allies, we turned him back and ultimately gave the russians the impetus they needed to capture berlin

  • Believing your own propaganda again? Seems to be a pretty common thing south of the border. Perhaps that's why you fell for bush's WMD line.
