You are not playing the "real" version or anything close to it as the 6 min long remix plays as. First of all, you're missing out on A LOT of chords on the right hand. The chords are a key part of the melody to get that dramatic, epic feel. When you hit a chord versus one key at a time, the sound is more denser and echoes with a deeper feeling of emotion. Thus the epic effect.

But as I watched your performance, you're hitting one key at a time, pretty much, on your right hand (Treble Cleft).

Very good playing, but the 6 minute version of this song is just a remix.

The official version of Lux Aeterna is only about 4 minutes long. The 6 minute version is just the original Lux Aeterna looped twice, sometimes including Requiem for a Tower (the orchestral version). That's why nobody can find the 6 minute version on iTunes, etc. It's just a remix, not the official thing.

Still, great job in the video!

Yeah, I roughly know the melody on guitar. I couldn't play the song well on it if I wanted to, but it's still fun to screw around with a particular melody and see what you come up with.

If there is sheet music, I have no knowledge of its existence. I did this entirely by ear, so until I can find a free sheet music writing program, my version is going to remain just a learning by ear thing. Do you happen to know of such a program? If so, please help me out here.lol

ah dont waste time on that ill just improvise learning stuff by ear is also fun and challenging :), I dont even like note sheets, Useally I learn stuff from midi files 10x faster. I have the yamaha E403 next to my piano it shows the keys on a display(with pause/play/ff/rw stuff).
