Ive been to that stanley hotel.. yep I saw this grey figure open its mouth and make a noise like it was screaming while being sufficated by a pillow i slamed that door shut and ran down the hall way while I was running my dad was behind me and he saw a white figure come up from the ground and trip him he got a cauncution. the stanley hotel is famous for being in the move "the shinng"

Somebody should resurrect Gold Field Hotel. It would be awesome to have a haunted hotel to stay at such as this one. They will so many visitors who wants to stay in that place just to have the ghost experience. My husband and I pay so much money in hotels that are haunted. They will also create employment in that place and the money they will receive is to sustain GoldField.
This place have such a wonderful history. Back in 1901, it was the largest city in Nevada. This place would have Las Vegas. They used to have 35,000 people living in it and people started leaving when they ripped the whole place with their ore and gold. There were only 1,500 residents left and unfortunately there was a fire and burnt 28 blocks! I was there yesterday. I've always wanted to see this place. Somebody should save this place and get a grant from the government to resurrect it.
i grew up about an hour away from this place, i actually went there on a field trip in about 7th grade i think. imo, its all complete bullshit. its a total ghost town, no business, no traffic.That old lady runs a souvenir shop across the street, she needs that place to be haunted more than anybody. i was asking to many questions during her tour and she got mad at me and told me i had no psychic ability and i couldn't sense ghosts, lol. sure

I took a picture in front of that hotel and the we took another pic with a different camera and in one pic there was nothing in the pic and then we looked at the other pic and saw a face that was in the window. It was not a shadow or anything , But it was really freaky!!

that building is extremely creepy, a few years ago i was working for a beer company and we would deliver to a few bars/restaurants that were in the town, and even then during the day it gave off a creepy vibe.. aint no way in hell i would go in that place at night.... and yes the legend of Elizabeth does exist in the hotel...may she rest in peace..

My cousin and i tried to stay the night there last year but when we started snooping around...damn it got wierd. I'm glad those college guys from Las Vegas got that footage when they tried to stay. I can relate.
I saw a documentary on The SciFi channel called Ghost Encounters, I've have always believed that there was more than death but I have never been so convinced by the evidence in that documentary, I would love to explore this place one day, I am not a ghost hunter but the unexplained is interesting to me, thanks for posting this!

Funny how some people jump to conclusions for which they have no evidence -- most of the ghost hunters are still asking questions whereas you've already concluded the truth.
I've concluded my truth based on the "LACK of evidence." For example, i've watched nearly every episode of Ghost Hunters since it began airing on the SciFi channel, because I love SCIENCE FICTION, but they have never found ANY evidence that supports the existence of ghosts. However, this isn't a debate for me, so leave my comments be. Although I believe ghosts are not real, I wish you well in your belief of ghosts.
I don't believe in anything -- I'm an agnostic. You however believe fundamentally in something for which you have no definitive proof -- the non-existence of something. That is the extreme position, not one that accepts the possibility of something.

Anyway, they have been talking a lot about the upcoming season 4 and dropping many hints of a "place in Nevada in which fans begged them to go". I just saw this show in SciFi this morning! The flying brick was chilling video evidence and they even have a physics expert explaining the phenomenon. As for the orbs, I believe orbs are just particles of dust and tiny debris in the air that are accentuated by camera flashes, etc, but in the video an orb appears to trace the entire contour of one of the investigators forearms, a sort of ghostly caress...which could be a coincidence, but it's interesting nonetheless.
I was watching "Ghost Adventures" the other night and it was very interesting. Those two boys sure can run. I don't every remember Jason or Grant running away like that they would of been running toward the flying debris.

duh, all cameras do this. i live in nevada and this hotel is one the ten most haunted places in the u.s. or the world or something like that. but people that live there are still scared of it, and i watched this episode on the sci-fi channel.
It's a great old hotel, but no ghosts. Goldfield is a dead, not dying, town. I'm sure the old lady and the few remaining townspeople there would more movies made there.
Actually the Goldfield hotel is very haunted, this video just doesn't show it. I recommend watching "Ghost Adventures" to see some real proof on the ghosts that haunt this place. While this is a nice home video of a tour through the hotel, it doesn't show any actual paranormal activity so I understand your scepticism.
I would love to go see this place for myself. Of course I don't believe I'd see of feel anything but then I never do.....lol

that building is extremely creepy, a few years ago i was working for a beer company and we would deliver to a few bars/restaurants that were in the town, and even then during the day it gave off a creepy vibe.. aint no way in hell i would go in that place at night.... and yes the legend of Elizabeth does exist in the hotel...may she rest in peace..

they did. at the goldfield hotel they caught the voice of George Whinfield in room 109, the exact room he chained Elizabeth 2 the radiator. Zak Bagans n his friend Nick got Elizabeth's voice on recorder.

My cousin and i tried to stay the night there last year but when we started snooping around...damn it got wierd. I'm glad those college guys from Las Vegas got that footage when they tried to stay. I can relate.

I saw a documentary on The SciFi channel called Ghost Encounters, I've have always believed that there was more than death but I have never been so convinced by the evidence in that documentary, I would love to explore this place one day, I am not a ghost hunter but the unexplained is interesting to me, thanks for posting this!

ya it is pretty interesting to hear about it. It does make me want to visit the place with a few friends and investigate myself to see if the stories hold true.

Funny how some people jump to conclusions for which they have no evidence -- most of the ghost hunters are still asking questions whereas you've already concluded the truth.

I've concluded my truth based on the "LACK of evidence." For example, i've watched nearly every episode of Ghost Hunters since it began airing on the SciFi channel, because I love SCIENCE FICTION, but they have never found ANY evidence that supports the existence of ghosts. However, this isn't a debate for me, so leave my comments be. Although I believe ghosts are not real, I wish you well in your belief of ghosts.

I don't believe in anything -- I'm an agnostic. You however believe fundamentally in something for which you have no definitive proof -- the non-existence of something. That is the extreme position, not one that accepts the possibility of something.

Assuming you are correct, then because my favorite movie is Star Wars and I "stalk videos" of Star Wars on youtube, then I must believe in the mythology of the Force. Furthermore, the same logic can be assigned to you. If you're agnostic and don't believe in ghosts, why are YOU trolling these videos??? But again, this isn't a debate. Oh, but it is serious. All fundamentalism is serious - be it religious or scientific. And putting exclamation points and saying "fallacious" cannot amount to an argument. You don't have an interest in ghosts -- you have an obsession with negating them. I'm an agnostic who doesn't believe but I do consider various things. In other words, I'm not ignorant enough to think I know enough to pass final sentence on everything. Ahem. ;)

Being Agnostic isn't about "not believing." An agnostic would say that it "cannot be proven," much like ghosts! Not believing MEANS thinking something can't be proven -- that's why we don't "believe" it because it CAN'T be proved! To suggest that everything is known and that these acceptances are true in all cases IS fundamentalism, in whatever form.There are lots of fundamentalist materialists in the world -- almost as many as fundamentalist religion folk.

oops it wasnt actually TAPS who made the investigation but a completely new crew that call their unit "GhostAdventures" I do hope that they will visit more places like these and get hard evidence on paranormal activity.

Jason and Grant have a radio show that airs on Saturday night called Beyond Reality Radio. You can listen to the stream on the internet. Anyway, they have been talking a lot about the upcoming season 4 and dropping many hints of a "place in Nevada in which fans begged them to go". It's pretty obvious that they are talking about this place. I SURE HOPE SO!

My husband drove by the Goldfield Hotel on his way to Tonopah about 2 weeks ago. He called to let me know that it looked like the TAPS vehicals were there. :) Can't wait!

Yeah, it's official. They did investigate the Goldfield Hotel for season 4. It was more than 2 weeks ago I suppose. LOL! They admitted it tonight and last week on their radio program. So, be looking for the episode! I can't wait either!!!

I went there about 10 years ago and met Virginia. She had a small store across the street from Hotel. I dont know if she is still there. Nice Lady.

I just saw this show in SciFi this morning! The flying brick was chilling video evidence and they even have a physics expert explaining the phenomenon. As for the orbs, I believe orbs are just particles of dust and tiny debris in the air that are accentuated by camera flashes, etc, but in the video an orb appears to trace the entire contour of one of the investigators forearms, a sort of ghostly caress...which could be a coincidence, but it's interesting nonetheless.

I was watching "Ghost Adventures" the other night and it was very interesting. Those two boys sure can run. I don't every remember Jason or Grant running away like that they would of been running toward the flying debris.

duh, all cameras do this. i live in nevada and this hotel is one the ten most haunted places in the u.s. or the world or something like that. but people that live there are still scared of it, and i watched this episode on the sci-fi channel.

It's a great old hotel, but no ghosts. Goldfield is a dead, not dying, town. I'm sure the old lady and the few remaining townspeople there would more movies made there.

Actually the Goldfield hotel is very haunted, this video just doesn't show it. I recommend watching "Ghost Adventures" to see some real proof on the ghosts that haunt this place. While this is a nice home video of a tour through the hotel, it doesn't show any actual paranormal activity so I understand your scepticism.
