Wow...why are you talking like a robot? I talk to my espeak like I would a normal person and have no problems...did you go through ALL of the readings in the little voice training thing? (you know...where it gives you passages to read from). Even when I only went through three of them, I still didn't have to talk like a robot, lol. The only annoying this is when it thinks I gave it some command and all I was doing was typing, lol. A tad too sensitive I think, lol.

he is not actually talking to his computer he just programed espeaking to say something when he says something, so its just a line of commands, if he said the same thing twice the computer would say the samething twice to what he said.

Yes. I am reading from a script. The computer is also reading from a type of script. As I read my lines, the computer listens and responds as programmed. This is a simulated conversation. My computer really doesn't care if I say "please" or "thank you".

But it is interesting to think about it. What if the computer did care?

I know there are other voice recognition videos posted on-line. But I don't think there were any showing this kind of conversation.

Oh, so you dont actually set the command In game, you just set a Phrase to a Key that is set to something in the game

Whever keyboard or mouse actions that you can perform in your game, you can program a voice command in e-Speaking to perform that keyboard or mouse action for you.

When the game is running, say the phrase: "Add New Command". If your game is running in full-screen, you may need to then press ALT-Tab to switch to the e-Speaking program to then complete the Add Command dialog. Just make sure that your game is shown in the Scope box of the Add Command dialog.

This video was created using e-Speaking Voice and Speech Recognition software. You can create voice commands for specific computer actions as well as to perform dictation. The software makes extensive use of text-to-speech capabilities to allow you to create verbal responses by the computer. In essence, this video is a series of voice commands (complex instructions) to which the computer responds with dialog. The computer doesn't truly understand. It is just responding in a predefined way.
