  • (Y 2ª parte.)

Pues, SI MUJER ES AMOR, Y, AMOR ES DIOS... DIOS ES MUJER... Y, LA MUJER, ESTA EN DIOS A TRAVES DE SU AMOR QUE LE DA FORMA Y SENTIDO DE EXISTENCIA... CREANDO VIDA, CUIDANDOLA Y GUIANDOLA EN SU SOLO AMAR...

  • (1ª Parte.)

    Visiones...

  • I love religion, but I find this choir overproduced and very breathy.

  • Fantastic !!!!

  • Sooo viel Gefühl. Wunderbar.

  • their voice are amazing!! Thank you to upload this video!! God bless you and beside you!! Amen!! <3

  • wonderful nice fantastic Voices

ich schmelze dahin. wenn ich den gesang lausche!

  • Wonderful video, thanks Denis. I just found this and I think it is simply beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • @Ravensbread You're very welcome.

  • whether its religious or not these boys sing quit marvelous

  • People here are arguing about whether God exists or not. I think this song is answer enough for the moment. The yearning and echoe in our heart which is evoked by this song has its reason. There´s a verse in the bible, which says that eternity is laid down in our hearts. This deep, mighty purity shows me how God is.

Traumhaft

  • It's funny how people say that God has no place in science, and yet new discoveries in DNA language, and other things are proving that their is a maker, a higher intelligence. How is that? Well someone had to put the knowledge in DNA, it didn't happen by chance. Sorry friends, but Science proves the Bible to be true.

  • @johnlp4 this isn't actually a very intelligent argument. "well...SOMEONE had to put it there in DNA" is in fact massively weak. It doesn't prove anything to just say you guess someone had to, so there must be a God. In fact I would venture to say that God wouldn't appreciate such a weak argument on his behalf.

  • I didn't realize you had uploaded this.....until now...LOL..I used to listen to this everynight for about 2 weeks.....thank you for this.....

  • @symphonica7 Welcome my friend.

  • muy buena musica

  • To 48acar19 Central to Judaism is the philosophy that one who saves one life....it is as if that person saved the whole world. And you do find beautiful art, the human form included in Jewish institutions. You should see the stained glass windows at the nearest synagogue to me. As for Libera, they are great!

  • @Robbysmile1 That is also a tenet in the Koran. There is much that is dangerous in these ancient religions. Stoning a women taken in adultery is commonly prescribed. Homosexual love was proscribed but for some there is not other kind of love. The fighting between the Shia and Suni is competely unnecessary but is based on interpretations. The St Batholemew's Day massacre was a religious event. I do not hate religion. I wish it to would be kinder

    to people.Aled

  • @Robbysmile1

Obviously I love the art and music part of the side-consequences of religion.

But if you would be curious to read the Torah, you would see that not Hitler was the first criminal to conceive and apply the ethnic cleansing in history, but the Torah, And the Talmud also contains unspeacable crimes!

Yes, there were interactions between the abrahamic religions. In the ancient world no Judaic Temple had stained glass! In fact even painting was banned by Judaism, because of YHWH.

  • @Robbysmile1

    C'mon MR Robby!

Central to Judaism is the Torah, which teaches people how to perform on others ethnic cleansing!

Stained glass comes from late Catholic art! There was no stained glass in the Ancient israel!

The only thing found over there that belongs to the "israelite" culture for sure is a stone with the name YHWH on it!

This is all the "israelite" art!

  • at the start they look like the kkk lol

  • its marvelous.u are angelsssssssssss

  • I love this longer version of Lux Aeterna with the men and boys singing together!

  • I absolutely love this boys!

  • I hate religion, but I think these boys are marvelous

  • @48acar19 - What does your hatred for religion have to do with your appreciation of this music?

  • @RAlanSnider

Exactly what I said: even though religion has many dark sides, the religious music is awesome. I like the Gregorian chants too.

Nevertheless I can never forget how harmful the religion was during the centuries.

  • @48acar19 - I understand, but you expressed hatred for religion in general, not merely the catholicism you are implying in your first response. Just trying to narrow the scope of your expression a little.

If you're talking about the catholicism that tyrannized Europe in the middle ages then I can share much of your sentiment.

Oh, and I dig Gregorian chant, too. It's great for studying.

  • @RAlanSnider

I think you understood correctly that all religions are bad. Judaism and Islam are even worse than Catholicism, because you can find the ethnic cleansing well described in the Torah (which is common with Christianity too) and lots of killings (advised).

At least the Catholicism has let some space for art too. You cannot find sculpture or paintings (of human body) in Judaism or Islam.

So, yes, religions are all bad. Including hinduism and Buddhism. They distort the reality.

  • @48acar19 Horses wear blinkers. Some humans also wear blinkers they are called 'hatred' and 'ignorance'.

    Aled

  • @48acar19 I firmly believe God hates religion too (according to the inspired Word of God). It is sad that many have made Christianity into a religion which it is not! A personal relationship with someone (Jesus Christ) who died for you is not a religion. I think the boys are great and can be a great blessing to many.

  • @kinsin5

A personal relationship with whom??? BS!!!

The bible tells us how Jesus Christ has changed his face on a mountain where he has met well-known deceased Jewish prophets like Elijah. Did you read what this "prophet" has done? He has killed 850 men for the reason that they had a different god (Baal) and when they prayed to Baal the wheather was dry! No raining!

What the heck thought Jesus? Is this behaviour acceptable to Jesus? Why?

This "friend" of Jesus was a killer!

  • @48acar19 I share your dislike of religion. You can have a relationship (intimate closeness) with God and not have the trappings of stultifying ritual and dogma. I love Libera. That we can share in common.

  • @rlogan1943

Well, god is a human invention. If you understand evolution, if you study modern physics, you would understand that there is no need for inventing any god.

What Einsteinn praised was just the nature.

When Napoleon, two centuries ago, has asked Laplace: "and where is the place of god in your scientific theory?", Laplace answered: "god has no place in science".

    This is still valid today.

Religion has brouoght only prejudice and wars in this world. It's time for it to go.

  • @48acar19 Says WHO ... Says YOU! You can Tell GOD he doesn't exist when you see him , it won't be long now the prophecy are happening NOW in the news TODAY !

  • @48acar19 who are you to decide what people believe? And by people, I mean 2/3rds of the world population

  • @chocchipcookiegirl

Almost 100% from the world used to believe that the Earth is flat.

    Things have changed since then.

If 2/3 of the world still believes in religion, then it is not so bad. In Sweden and Norway only 15% of the people believe in some god.

  • @Fatsnail13 I didn't exactly mean it like that nevertheless I realise its a bad move to get into religious arguments- which is why I stopped replying half a year ago. Judging by the way you so courteously conduct yourself online, I can't help noticing the extreme irony of your comment.

  • Excellent......5/5

  • Every song that I listen from them, I feel peace and love. I think that they are travelers who mission is to say the message from God to all the peaple and races: "You are my sons, live in peace and love, help to peaple needed".

  • who is doing the solo

  • fantastic!!!!!! libera is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for this posting, lest we forget that the early days of Libera were so important. I will now have to look for other things by Adam Harris, a haunting breathy sound.

Something Sings is just another fine example of why Michael Horncastle will always remain in my top five favorite voices in Libera, this look at his early years was delightful.

We are so lucky to have these recordings available thanks to you :)

  • This song and the rest of Libera's songs are what I call beutiful and peaceful.

  • Some of their songs, like the ones you heard here, have a very etherial feel. However, many others are closer to a more popish sound.

Try searching for "Stay With Me," "When A Knight Won His Spurs," and "Orinoco Flow." These songs show a different side of Libera than the one you're hearing here.

  • @hawkfan1521 "Popish"... ? Are you for real? This is the 21st century! Some of the greatest music ever written was composed for the Popes, or for the Mass, but it is for everyone to enjoy.

  • @hawkfan1521 or even Dies Irae heheh

  • no such thing as "too aetherial"

  • chaste souls - ANGELS :) :) :)

  • Interesting! what toungue are they using?

  • latin

  • the tongue located in the mouth! lol! just kidding...its latin the language of the Gods...

  • Gods? oh really?that would be gods I take it.^1 YHVH and thanks dermie.

  • Something Sings is one of my favorite Libera songs. It's dark but deeply moving.
