I will forever remember this day in Canton. I cheered so long and so hard I nearly passed out. I cheered for Art Monk the player, and the man he was, and is today, in the Washington metro area. My Redskin fandom is being tested these days (read the Detroit loss), but days like this in Canton and the Redskin glory years will forever remind me of friends, family and home. Thank you Art. Thank you.

What happened to the Receiver position? How did so many of these guys become divas. Hopefully the next generation see's the type of respect Art Monk commands by saying almost nothing. I mean they're off to a good start with Calvin Johnson but at the same time they're right back to square one with Crabtree and his "me me me" antics.

i was there also, the majority of the chants near the end were "its about time." that place was absolutely electric. It was like us skins fans drove hours to Ohio and ended up in the fed-ex parking lot tailgating. Just AWESOME!!

I'm a Texan and of course a die-hard Cowboys fan, but Art Monk was one of the greatest. That was the best HOF reception I've ever seen. We need more NFL players of his and Darrell Green's caliber.

That whole weekend was great. Monk is the definition of what the redskins were during the Gibbs Era. Thanks for the video I couldn't find it anywhere all the news outlets and networks have cut it out of the re-airs.
