@chase1146 "Calico" is not a breed. It's a kind of fur pattern on them. Try and look for a cat that looks similar to yours in body shape and by (most likely her) temperament. In any case, she might just be a domestic shorthair or longhair. Keep in mind that other breeds of cat do have this pattern as well.

In Japanese Folklore it was feared that once a cat it old age it's tail would split and the cat would become a nekomata demon . But because the Bobtail's tail was so short, people were more trusting of it. This could be why they've become so popular. Either way, they're pretty adorable c:

Love these cats...Had a tri-color one at the stable. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever known...also a good mouser. She passed away this year and will be missed by all that came in contact with her (all ages). I think this breed is special, and probably in it's own way a real live lucky charm.
