This guy's a liar. "Card check" otherwise known as the Employee Free Choice Act would make private elections easier. Right now, the employer decides if there's a private election for the workers to organize. EFCA would make it to where if 50% plus 1 sign a card indicating union support, a private election would be held for the workers to decide whether or not they want to form a union. This guy either is full of lies, or needs to get his facts straight.
0:25 It's not a "radical position" to say that an employer should not be involved in their employees' union, or be involved in their elections and challenges.
Also, her explanation of that is deliberately misleading. Elections don't have anything to do with the union "making their case". Typical Megyn.
Craig Becker is without a doubt, unfit to sit on the NLRB. If he was a good candidate BO would not have resorted to a recess nomination. Nobody, in either party, that has a sense of fairness would elect Craig Becker. He has stated that he does not support a democratic vote within the union.. What the union says, goes... I hope he meets the same fate as Union Boss, Jimmy Hoffa...
wow! Craig Becker really sounds like a nut. Traditional democratic processes shouldn't apply to unions? Lol! So much for real "representation of workers", eh, Craig?
