I remember the day Ronnie died, none of us knew what to do or think ......we had lost so much of ourselves, and mourned the music that would never be, not in this life time anyway. I love you Ronnie
I cant imagine the one "dislike" but whatever. I use to sing Simple Man to my son when he was being rocked to sleep. . He is now in Afghanastan and I am proud of the man he has become., and he loves that song today, weather it be Ronnie or Johnny singing it.The Van Zant boyz are blessed and they have blessed us all with the honesty of the muzic they sing. Thank You Ronnie, Johnny and Donny, as well as the rest of the band. God Bless
I attended their last concert tour in Salt Lake City. I was in shock that morning, mom giving us a ride to school. Not all of my school pool riders were fans, but when I got to school there was a wake.
The guy died and his younger brother carried on the legacy, even if he isn`t as good as Ronnie he is a great singer, and i bet that Ronnie is happy having his brither there. I am sure that i would, and all those stupid guys in here that say different is because they all are small minded, By the way just saw them here in Brazil and it was great.
@CainmosniMirrored and I'm sure Ronnie would love people hating all over his brother.....you try having Ronnie as a brother....losing him....and trying to keep his songs alive.... *Shakes head* so sad to see people trash Johnny....
@CainmosniMirrored I think your looking at it all wrong man. Johnny kept the band alive when he lost his brother, im sure he'd rather have his brother alive, and im sure ronnie wouldn't want people hating his brother they were very family oriented, johnny is keeping the music alive, the whole family is incredibly taletened, sure ronnie would have been very different for the band then johnny but at least the music and legacy lives on
@CainmosniMirrored Wow, it must suck to be so "hateful" ...I saw the original band July 4th 1977, Dayz On The Green, and I have seen them since Johnny took over vocals, and I love how they have kept the old alive and made the new so awesome and real...you really need to lighten up and fynd some good to spread, it would do your heart wonders. Good luck with that:)

Self destructive forces at work. I get it. The words are true. OOO That Smell tells it all. Recovery is not easy. Only a few make it.

I hate Johnny Van Zant. He is such a parasite. Ronnie was the REAL legend of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
