The Vasque "waterproof" boot is the first and last Vasque boot I will ever own. Despite all the hype it leaks. Badly, as I found out during the current flood. And despite the boots being in mint condition, I was informed by Red Wing customer service that "Vasque products are covered by a limited 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship". For shame! Vasque's reputation was made on boots made in Italy. They're made in China now.
