Thank you for posting this! Incicently his name is Gary Maclennan and he was my first ever uni lecturer and as I told him before he went up there on the stage, I have him to thank for teaching me how to think. He's my 'Mr Keating' from Dead Poets Society and you can see why from this small clip.

I am and I am eternally grateful and was so glad to have the opportunity to tell him that. As I said, he taught me how to think, not just remember things for exams. Essentially it's because of what he taught that I am able to use my head, see injustices and be inclined to attend such events.
