  • What's with the porno music?

  • What about the effects of the paint on acrylics? I've made a video showing what happens when an unsuspecting girl friend decides to clean the tank for you (me) and used windex. It took a few times asking her what she did but she finally confessed to using that stuff.

    Crazing, watch?v=lZHJg3JQ6VY

    Are there any suggestions to get rid of and keep fire worms out of the reef tank? They destroyed a reef I had many years ago (circa 1991).

  • Why don't you just use Black Fablon(sticky Back Plastic!), In five minutes, it's on the glass, and it's waterproof!

    Its cheap, and easy to use.

  • Hi, I always paint the backs and with glass tanks removal is easy with a Stanley blade glass scraper. Spray paint's ok but allows the light to light up the wall. Standard backgrounds printed on plastic film are best fitted with ;

    (Seaview Adhesive.flv)

    BTW I don't use Rustoleum because it's not black, Sikkens is.

    Oil based blues tend to brown off with age (film's better) and it's not possible to get a dark blue in paint with flourescent lights, the light makes it chalky. Test first.

  • I have always found it easier to use window tint film, 5% leaves a little translucense ; not enough to see through and you don't pigeon hole yourself by spraypainting the tank and never being able to do something different with the aquarium if you choose

  • is spray paint alright?

  • freakin great thanks

  • awsome vid man
