I am not a drummer....but i play next to one....haha.....he has this expensive drum kit with drums going from one side to the other and its just to much. I believe a GOOD drummer should be able to produce just as good a sound without all the extra. In my friends case, they always get in the way, and he ends up going off and we all have to studder for him.

The youtube community is so funny. I wasn't trashing the guy. I think he's pretty good, but as one drummer to another I'm letting him know I heard a mistake. He probably already knows it and grimaces every time he hears it. It's ok. We all make mistakes, and when some with a critical ear mentions it, it serves to help the person improve. But people are so quick to get defensive that they have to mark comments as negative at the slightest hint of criticism. It cracks me up

For the people who cant hear the bass, you have to have a subwoofer or more then 2 speakers to hear it. The recording sounds alright, could sound better. It could sound more powerful in a place with less furniture (gives more reverb)

I love your setup.

but seriously you DO need to turn the bass drum up, it doesent cut very well. Even over the quiet parts. I'm using Nice headphones and still, i know you could get it to sound better. This sounds stupid, but turn the lows almost all the way down and you get more of a punchy sound.

oh also, if u want a better kick sound(just a suggestion) i see u like a low kick sound kinda low, and punchy, if u want a better sound, u can get eliminator beators and use the flat plastic side, again just a suggestion, but it makes it louder and it cuts through cymbals better than felt, again its just a suggestion
