WARNING: I, also, have a Walkera 4-3B. This mini helicopter is only for Extremely Advanced R/C helicopter pilots. If you are not extremely adept at flying R/C helicopters, you will destroy this helicopter in short order. It, also, has many toy grade parts that are extremely difficult and expensive to replace.
Yes on my page I did mention that it is NOT a beginner heli. A coaxial type heli would be best to start with. However, as far as fp & cp heli goes, parts are cheap for the 4#3B. It's not as easy to break parts compared to bigger & higher end helis. But yeah, NOT a beginner heli, it is the hardest heli I've ever flown. Much harder than it looks, and adding extra weight on the canopy doesn't help either lol.
i have a 4-3b, its my first heli, i think that its a good heli to start with. I crashed mine a LOT of times and because of the light weight all that is damaged is the body with a few cracks and 2 rotorblades replaced. Now i can hover and make it go where i want it to go, been flying it for two weeks.
I bought this one, crashed and broke the boom same night.. then I broke tail rotor.. yesterday the transmitter burnt so did the wire..... both got smoked up.
I spent roughly same $ to fix this heli as the cost of getting a new one.
This one came with strong TBE though... and I found the flybar paddles were setup in the opposite angle. lol
trim is the little slider under or on the side of the sticks. To adjust trim, slide it to the direction that you are compensating with the sticks. If it's spinning like crazy, it may be a variety of issues in the tail rotor, or gyro.... all depends on the particular heli you are flying.
The tail rotor is a virtual magnet for lint and hair. Clean off everything that has collected around the shaft and it will run a lot better. Tiny, sharp tweezers work best. Be careful to not damage or deform the rotor blades.
not really, the smaller the heli, the more it is effected by the slightest breeze, and this is really about as small as it gets. It is best to fly inside, or a completely dead calm day
Nice flyin'!! you make it look so easy!!

i don't know what this guys talking about, the 4-3b is an easy fly to a 1 week pilot
if your looking to get into flying inside consider one of these. Outside however, consider the honeybee fp. both solid helis.

Hey crabfu, how does your cat react to this one?
XANApwns 3 years ago
he doesn't like any of my helis, not even this tiny one, watches from a distance or run away.

Wow, that is some nice handling. You should fly it near someone and see if they freak out :D

if I fly near someone else, I'd be the one freaking out....
