The second option. Eb tuning is just tuning all your strings a half step down, so...

Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, and eb.

Nice, that's the right way to play, like Slash do.

All the tabs on the internet show you have to play this part on 10 to 8 frets and it's TOTALLY wrong !

How much did your '79 Les Paul cost? The '69 in mint condition is priced at 120,000$ i've gotten the chance to play one, my friends dad has one, all I have is an Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 which is awesome for begginers like me, also my amp settings when I play this are (I have a very simple

amp) Gain: 4-5, Treble: 6-7, Mid and Bass: 7. And mess around with the tone on your guitar, always use rhythm or both pickups for the intro, hope this helps some begginers with simple gear like me.
