the speed seems to be normal like as it would be on a ps2. If the emulator was set up properly, should it run that fast? cuz my friend is setting this kinda thing up for me (Im not that computer-skilled) and I would like the speed to be enjoyable.

You can buy an X-Box controller (good quality), Logitech controller (cheap), these 2 can be installed, and some games support their use.

For the Playstation controller you need an USB adapter (Rumbler i think its name was). I dont think it has software however.

You can use Pinnacle for every USB controller. Its 30 days free, then after one time you have payd, you can have it unlimited :)

@carlojeromepablo you cant get roms you need a copy of the game and a program on your pc called iso burner

@JOREX11 You don't need a copy of the game, there's this thing called an ISO, and, well, you download them. That would also be called pirating.

You can also use legitimate copies in your DVD drive to emulate it as well. The loading times may be increased though.

@dreamkey2446 If you (and all the other noobs that think they beated the game) at least had the Final Mix, you would all be playing for ever, because the japanese version is just too big and have to many extra things, the most basic, for you to know, is the Critical Mode ( twice the damage from medium mode, ability "NoEXP" available and other in-game things). get the plugins from the pcsx2 site and bios...

Just google ps2 bios.

The number controller is called a Saitek P880 usb controller...can be used for basically every game and emulator on pc.
