we haven't seen the 4th in a battle, but he was trained by jiraya, so you should think of jiraya vs sauske, and then, who would have won?, the 4th would obviusly be pwning sasuke and also he would have sealed the death mark from sasuke so he can't use the enormus power, and i don't think a hokage use something as low level as shadow clones only in battle. the 4th would have summoned a few battle frogs which sasuke can't beat and go sage mode, just like jiraya and sauske would have been owned
